What’s wrong with section 637?
Since I promised myself I’d be in the Dome if our beloved Saints make it to the NFC final (please ignore my signature), I have been shopping around the net for tickets. Regardless of the ridiculous prices already advertised, I couldn’t help noticing how every web sites don’t have the same tickets up for sale, but always have those in section 637. Considering the kind of money it will take just to get in, even WAY up there, I dont want to get screwed over bad seatings. Furthermore, I don’t want to disappoint my guest . Any of you season ticket holders know what’s up with that?
Any advice on which web site to buy tickets from or lodging are also more than welcome.
Who Dat say dey’ll keep me away on Game Day!?!?!?

Section 637
appears to be upper level behind the Saints bench between the 10 and 20 yd line nearer the south endzone using the virtual 3D seating feature on the Saints site
http://www.seats3d.com/nfl/new_orleans_saints/
From that high up I wouldn’t think there would be a very bad view of the field.
Still,
and even with that same 3D gadget i’ve been using, I can’t help but wonder why are those always the cheapest tickets around. I may be paranoid but I won’t spend close to 3 big ones for that trip and go through an anti-climax because of the seats I bought.
Anyone of you willing to take a peak before next game?
Still cautiously optimistic.
Yeah, Just get in the Building
the last time I had season tix. was 611 (diagonally) from 637,(my dad’s were 208 corner of end zone loge level) but these upper deck seats are usually the ones they make available for visitors or single and pairs. Just the way it is, if they’re in the middle rows, might be a little climb, steps are a little steep,no cushion seats. I brought binoc’s for fun, but up there one can see coverage and formations, kind cool. You’ll have fun, if don’t have vertigo issues. Go for it.

You guys are very persuasive...
Still, and as much as I’d be happy to walk from section to section the whole game, isnt it worth spending more dough for a better game experience? Current price for a seat in 637: $550.00 american dollars for one ticket on stubhub…
Still cautiously optimistic.
I have been looking and looking
for seats to the Patriots game that were affordable and good. I have sat in the very next to last row at midfield before and had a great time. I’m trying to enjoy it from closer this time.
I’ve been scrummaging through Craigslist and Ebay mostly to find some tickets on there. I’d try those first. You can get some seats that are near field level(might be endzone) that were like 800 for 2 tickets. Considering that you’d be shelling out 550 per on stubhub(plus around a $80 fee per ticket) i’d go through Ebay. I haven’t seen many tickets that were really too expensive(over 1100 that you’d be spending on those). I’d definetly look at Ebay and possibly Craigslist. Just have to be careful on Craigslist not to get scammed.
Superbowl bound!!!...I know! do you?! Go Saints!!
Craigslist is safe, provided you’re going to the person’s residence to pick up the tickets. No one in their right mind is going to sell a bogus ticket to someone who knows where they live. If they’re wanting to meet you at such and such a place at half past the monkey’s ass on gameday, I’d have take the “thanks, but no thanks” approach.

I’m in 636, the next section over. They’re not bad seats at all. In fact, one more section over and there’s a considerable jump in price on season tickets. You really don’t want anything higher than Row 20 though, if at all possible. And if you’re a frequent getter-upper, you’re going to want something close to the aisle. So you don’t annoy a half row of Who Dats, every time you have to take a leak. As far as why 637 is so readily available, my guess is that a broker bought a large block of season tickets in that section and has them listed weekly simultaneously on multiple sites. The odds of the same seats selling at those jacked up prices before he/she can update the other accounts are probably pretty slim. I’ve done the same thing in the past with extras and comps.

Go to TicketExchange on the Saints website...
…where all the available 600 level seats are listed for less than $200 each. You’re absolutely assured that the tix are not counterfeit. You can print them out from your computer at home; I’m not sure but I think you can pick ‘em up at will-call if you can’t print ’em yourself.
Prices are probably similarly “reasonable” ~ lower than Craigslist, etc. ~ for other sections (i.e., better seats) as well, if you’re willing to pay higher prices.
I have 2 seats in section 629 (terrace end zone, 19 rows up) and had been thinking about selling them if I could get 300-400 apiece. Now, as I’ve been monitoring the asking prices for tickets like mine, I’m pretty sure we’ll go to the game.
Don't know...
if you’re 2 seats are available for the NFC championship game on January 24th but, considering what I paid, they’ll probably be worth at least $600.00 a piece come mid-January.
Still cautiously optimistic.
