I've been reading a lot of posts talking about this game not being important. I have a problem with that. Every game you play is important. This is my first post, so here we go:
For our Saints. This is a big time game! The saints need to win high profile games like this to gain some experience for the playoffs. This is very important for the saints. C'mon fellow saints fans, don’t underestimate the importance of this game. I want the saints to be hosting the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! And as long as Minnesota wants go 15-1 we have to want to be 16-0,One game at a time. To heck with tiebreakers. Lets go for one heck of a fight take this thing to the next level. I have a lot of respect for the patriots and say what you want they are the team of the decade. That being said I don't care where we play them home, Boston, heck we 'll play them in the parking lot if they want. But this talk of the game not being important needs to stop. There is a fine line between respect and fear. When the giants beat the 2007 pats it came down to one thing they weren't scared of the pats. Let's ECHO that mindset. Tonight the attitude on the field and in the stands needs to be this: It's not the saints playing the mighty NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS, its the patriots playing the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!
To quote the movie varsity blues: WE CANT BE AFRAID TO LOSE, THERE IS NO ROOM FOR FEAR IN THIS GAME.
LETS GO SAINTS FANS GET FIRED UP. These are the games you dream of playing in or cheering your team on in. Tonight, we play the team of the decade. Well to be the team you gotta beat the team. I say let's go toe to toe and let them know that we don't care about what the media or anybody else says.
I know you run this site but I wanna hear from you, I am a New Orleans born and raised son serving in the Navy in California.
LETS GEAUX SAINTS FANS, if you respond to this post, then answer Drew Brees's pre-game question: WHO ARE WE?
