DeMario is one of my favorite players on this team

Greg Williams even mentioned how happy he was that no one signed Pressley from the practice squad. Now DeMario can show us what he’s made of in that 3 man rotation along side Hargrove and Ayodele.

I was thinking about this and why don’t they slide Charles Grant inside for a couple reps and put Bobby McCray on the outside?

They may do that

You never know with G-Dub.

Okay fine, FuSoYa...

I’m trying to be senselessly positive here. Stop ruining it for me!

I don't see

how anyone could consider this an upgrade of any sort, but I hope DeMario is as diamond-in-the-roughy as everyone thinks. He may be good(I honestly don’t remember him playing), but they were willing to risk him on the PS. Does anyone know his dimensions? Is he bigger than Hargrove, I mean? We need run blocking this week, not blitzing.

What you have to do is to turn his little body over so that when he does get it, he lands on his head and he doesn’t come back in for a while." -- Gregg Williams on Steve Smith.

i think he's pretty big

like ellis’s size. I believe he was a projected starter last year but got hurt. He was a training camp beast last year, didn’t hear anything about him this training camp but hopefully he will fill in well. I think he’ll good at taking up space against the run.

he definitely has more upside than clancy

i’ll admit, i’m biased and have never really been a fan of clancy, even though he’s been decent playing for us (i never heard of him before he played for arizona, where he was pretty subpar). we haven’t really missed him this season, either. after 9 years in the league, you’d expect him to have already made some sort of impact.

pressley, on the other hand, has had some real flashes of greatness in the preseason—he was all over the place against miami when he had extensive playing time—and he’s got the size to fill in nicely: pressley is listed at 6’3", 301 lbs, while clancy is 6’1", 305lbs, and hargrove is 6’3", 272lbs.

obviously it’s impossible to predict how well he’ll play, but given GW’s vote of confidence for him, i’m hoping he can really develop into a force alongside ellis (whenever he comes back from injury)

Demario

Okay he was good in College alongside Mario Williams…..He has a high motor just like Hargrove…..but how is he against the run? He missed all of last year with an injury to his foot…..so i hope he is like Meachem and full of knowledge on the play book!

Ha, I hope he's way better than the Meach in that regard...

I thought it took Meachers a while to catch on. He still doesn’t see a lot of action.
