Jeff Duncan veers dangerously close to pulling a Kenny Wilkerson
Tweets:
Did Payton mislead media/public about Greer? Asked Wed. (day AFTER surgery) if JG had setback: SP: "No, he’s still been working through it .
SP on Greer (contd.): "... He’s another guy that we’ll just see where he’s at. ... He did not practice today; that’s what we do know."
Personally, I could care less but flat-out lying creates distrust @jread2 As long as SP didn't violate league policy, does it really matter?
Ouch. Guess who doesn't get called on at the next Lee Harvey presser? Maybe ever again. Can Duncan turn those Vlogs into a radio show??

Such crap.
It’s a FOOTBALL game JD! Mistrust? Give me a break. Mistrust my ass. Tiger creates mistrust.
JD, you take yourself WAY too seriously. It’s a game. Hence the term “gamesmanship”.
I’m so sick of these people trying to manufacture drama. Worse than a pubescent schoolgirl…

Exactly!
JD needs to back it down.
Not everyone has as high an opinion of the media as JD.
Don’t ask me no questions
I won’t tell you no lies
Answering JD’s question would help the Falcons help beat the Saints.
Not Cool.

Duncan's problem
is the same as every other sports reporter’s: he thinks of the NFL and the media as some sort of gestalt, where each is equally important. Not only has that never been true, it’s no longer even plausible in the era of blogging. He needs to reflect on the fact that there aren’t millions of people wearing Jeff Duncan caps.

excuse me, he is a BEAT WRITER
He schooled me about this in a harsh manner that time. Along with what “objectivity” means. Here is the hierarchy:
Publisher
Editor
Beat Writer
Reporter
Guy who runs the presses
Guy who maintains the presses
Guy who sweeps up
lawyer
used car salesman
pimp
john
couple of others
blogger
I hope we can all appreciate this and give respect where it is due.

Meanwhile, Sean Payton's pants are in flames
Can’t believe a word he says. It’s a waste of time to ask him any questions. Which is precisely what he wants. You ask me no questions, I tell you no lies.

I understand he doesn’t want to reveal important information that will give opponents an edge. But he shouldn’t lie. If he consistently says “I don’t want to go into that now” “I don’t have an update for you on that right now”, and “No comment”, no one will know if he’s hiding something or not. And it’s honest.

here's 2 minutes of JD whining about it on his vlog
Is it slander if it’s the truth? Wow.

I usually enjoy Jeff's vlogs but, this time, screw 'em!
I hope SP never gives him a straight answer again. Duncan is basically saying, “Sean Payton had the gall to lie to me!”
I would say, “Screw ’em” but I think I already covered that.
Fat, dumb, and happy. Hell, two out of three ain't bad!
