Follow up question: which conference?
Bonus choice: Which conference concerns you the most? In my case, it is the NFC, which means I am more worried about getting to the superbowl than winning it. In other words, if we go 18-0, we go 19-0, no questions asked. But, what a party! i think smokin' the Colts or the Chargers in the Super Bowl would be like a fairy tale end to a smokin' season! God, how do you beat this season? and how do I spend the next 9 months!! Oh! Oh! And to answer my own question, you do it, again!

I agree its the NFC
but only bc we would have to play 2 teams as opposed to 1 AFC team. I think the Chargers and Colts would beat any other NFC team including the Vikings but we only will see 1 of the 2, where as we could potential play the Eagles and Vikings back to back. nothing easy about that.

Speaking of partying....
I’ve been trying to wrap my around this for awhile now:
What would a ticker-tape parade for the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints be like? I still can’t even begin to fathom the chaos that would ensue if the Saints even won the Super Bowl, much less if they city held a parade for them. I’m positive that it would make Mardi Gras look like an Amish picnic in comparison.

They really ought to start a Saints parade...
In mardi gras season when it overlaps with the Superbowl. Can you imagine all of the fans??!?! It would be extraordinary. Even for NOLA. I swear, NOLA and Lousiana rain. You can’t really understand it unless you’ve been through it.

thanks for the insights
I don’t know what it is about the NFC. Well, yes, I do, monstrous turnover records for the Eagles and the Packers. Vikes are going to bite it, I think.

we have home field advantage in the NFC
and I truly and honestly believe that no one can beat us in the Dome this year. No one. Now, if somehow we have to face Green Bay at Lambeau in the playoffs ( couldn’t happen) then we might be in trouble. But, in the Dome with our talent and our fans and our team’s will to win, especially assuming Fujita, Greer and Porter will be back by Jan 17, I just don’t see anyone beating us in NOLA. And that 2 week layoff while everyone but Minnesota is beating each other up, we have a huge advantage and we earned it!!!

In years past
The AFC owned the NFC but in recent years it has turned around and I see them struggling to keep up. I am not concerned with any of the AFC contenders cause it wont matter who it is. I do have concern for Philly and Minnesota but since either one of them has to come into our house this time leads me to realize that Payback is over due.
I do know that I feel more confident this year than ever before, that my Saints can and will give us the best season we have ever had.
You know, considering everything on this page, I would think there would be
nofear of the Cowboys, since they are coming to our house.
