Around SBN: Diego Sanchez and the Dangers of Fame in MMA

This sounds serious. Please pray for him.

Updating a previous item, the Charlotte Observer reports that Bengals WR Chris Henry suffered "life-threatening" injuries when he fell out of the back of a pickup truck in Charlotte (NC) Wednesday.
Henry reportedly "came out" of the truck during a domestic dispute with his fiancee, a Charlotte native. He is currently being treated at the Carolinas Medical Center, where he was transported by paramedics. As Henry's fiancee was driving away in the pickup, he allegedly jumped into the bed and ultimately fell or was forced out. Henry was in Charlotte to finalize wedding plans. The nature of his injuries is unknown, but police say Henry is still alive

maybe he was helping her load that guy's shot-up TV into her truck

and then she had to high-tail it out of there when the dude came out of his house and hollered, “What in the hail you’uns doin’ with my teevee?”

Hmm… that would be funny if this wasn’t a life-or-death sort of situation.

Sad

I expect the fiance will now be facing manslaughter charges, so her life is probably close to ruined as well. Very sad that his life ended this way.

I don't know what

the whole domestic issue was about with his fiance but even if they were arguing and things were getting crazy…. I would never leave anyone, epecially the person I love there in the middle of the road seriously injured… let alone leave him to die… I feel so bad for his family….

Poor Chris. He seemed too fragile to play in the NFL, always hurt. He could catch the ball though. This year it was a vicious chop in an attempt to strip the ball from him that broke his freaking forearm, ugly. Chris was also the moron who wore his own Bengals jersey while robbing somebody. But it sounds like she helped him clean up and get straight. Pretty sad.

Chris was a lifelong Saints fan. He had a tattoo of a fleur-de-lis on his neck, below his left ear. He reportedly visited Saints camp on at least two different occasions following his reinstatement to the league, attempting to persuade Sean Payton into giving him a tryout, before he was re-signed by the Bengals. He attended Belle Chasse High School in Plaquemines Parish, before going off to school at West Virginia, where he played under former Tulane OC (and current Michigan HC) Rich Rodriguez.
