Breeus is the Reason for the Season
I'm sitting in my office yesterday and I get a Roofing pamphlet in the mail(I don't know how I got on the mailing list, since I'm an electrical engineer and don't do nothing with roofs) on the front under Merry Christmas is "Jesus is the Reason for the Season", so since I'm clever(can't you tell by this long run-on sentence) I came up with the above slogan. Brees is the Reason for the Season, but that is not to take away from the other Saints player or Coach who has made this season one of the greatest ever. In your opinion, who has been the most important player or playeres on the team besides Brees. We already have a shirt with 'WWBD' on it, maybe we can get a shirt with 'Breeus is the Reason for the Season'.

I'm sorry, maybe I should keep my mouth shut
But, even though I love Drew Brees, he is not Jesus and shouldn’t be compared nor have his name replace Jesus’ name. I know it’s all in fun and a play-on-words, I get it. But, let’s please be respectful to our Lord’s name. Now, let me climb off this soapbox. Who Dat for life!!!
This is OUR year!! Yea, I said it. Who Dat!!!
Again, I agree with you B&E
Thats a little bit overboard and sacreligious. Brees is very good and has tranformed our Saints into contenders but comparing him to the Almighty is just not right.
Can we compare Charles Grant to Buddha instead?

Is the mascot 'Saints' sacreligious too?
Like you said, it’s all in fun and a play on words.
C’mon, let’s not get too uptight about it. Jesus has a sense of humor, too.
In Breesus' name we play

Completely different
Saints are considered holy or virtuous, many religions use similar concepts to elevate people worthy of respect but a Saint is not our Lord. Saints are priestsand mere mortals. That’s completely different..

One more touchdown and Drew
is the all-time leader for the Saints in touchdowns passing Aaron Brooks who has 120. Thanks, CP…
WHODAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
19-0
I heard someone on the radio today...
say it was Drew Breesus vs Tony Romoses… that way we’re not just “attacking” Christians, we can have some fun at the Jews’ expense too! ****end of sarcasm****
