Sir Saint shirts around town.

So I am looking for a Sir Saint (or other "throwback") shirt for my younger brother for Xmas. Finding them online (in his size) is proving difficult as I guess they are selling out. Does anyone know either of a) a website that would have the shirts for sure or b) what shops/chains around New Orleans/Metairie should have them in stock? I am beginning to fear that I am too late and won't be able to get one, but I figured if anyone know it would be the fans on this blog.

I use

Footballfanatics.com
Fansedge.com

I would recommend the first site simply because they will give you a percent back towards your next purchase. They have a tonne of stuff, some vintage and some retro. I would also just suggest you do am ebay search.

Found this on ebay for you (dont know the size you are looking for though)

The Black & Gold Shop on Veteran Blvd (near Bonnabel) is your best bet locally.

And as a store owner in a similar market, I say you’d have to be a silly duddy to not keep enough stock this year. You should NOT be running out of things at this point. Everyone around town is looking for Saints stuff.

Three, last time I was there … white, black and charcoal grey. Although I refuse to call him “Sir Saint” … it is, was and always will be “Ironjaw”.

love that store!!!!!

bought a lot of stuff in there yet again this year. Where is Geaux for the Gold? I know there is a store in Slidell by Cracker Barrel that has a Saints section too. I believe its near TGIF.

Geaux for the Gold

is in the shopping center in front of Walmart and Lowes on Gause. It’s the one you’re thinknig of in front of Cracker Barrell.

I’ve been to all the stores mentioned and The Who Dat Shoppe in old town Slidell has the most selection. The black and gold shop on Vets is a close 2nd. the WDS is not as organized so it’s a little hectic but the prices are pretty much similar. If you look in the paper you can find 25% off coupons all the time for the WDS.

There’s also another place in Metairie — and I don’t know the name of it — that sells Saints and LSU merchandise. It’s in the same strip center as the Mandarin Kitchen buffet, towards the north end of Severn, just off West Esplanade.

PURPLE AND GOLD. THANKS FOR THE REMINDER OF THE STREET NAME

or

in Lakeside there is a sports avenue or something like that with tons of saints stuff

by touchdown my pants on Dec 2, 2009 2:11 PM CST reply actions

there is

a Sports Avenue on the Riverwalk that is huge, also in the Mall in Slidell but that one is quite small. Your best bet is the Black N Gold on Esplande just east of the mall. They have a huge selection of merchandise. I should know just dumped another 100.00 in that store this year. Man that was the first store I hit after I got off the plane in October.

yes

they have a store in Metairie it also has a purple & gold attached to it. dam the name of the street escapes me at this hour, its just past the causeway heading east towards the city the mall is on the same street.

That’s the Black & Gold (and Purple & Gold) Shop on Vets. The other one I mentioned is on Severn. I don’t know the name, but it’s definitely not the same place. There’s also Tyger Gifts, which is strictly LSU stuff. The one I’m talking about is across from the Peppermill, in the same little L-shaped strip mall as Mandarin Kitchen. They carry a lot of tailgating stuff, as well.
