Viking lose to Carolina!

Wow.  I really didn't figure that would happen.  I hoped it would, of course, even as I kinda get a bit nauseous admitting it, but man I didn't expect THIS big of a whooping.  I figured Carolina would steal it off another Brett INT that got returned for a TD or something.

This gives us a LOT of new life.  As I suggested in the other thread, if we can treat the Dallas game as our "Arizona game" and beat the snot out of our next opponent, then homefield is ours.  And if we want to rest everybody and their brother for the final game and lay another stinker then, it won't matter because we'll already have homefield locked up.

And frankly, if we can't beat Tampa Dismay like a drum, then we don't deserve the #1 seed.

The First Seed is Ours...

unless we lose BOTH of the last two AND the Vikes win BOTH of theirs. Thank you Carolina for the early Christmas present.

Don't know if players are subscribed......

to this site, but isn’t that some undue pressure on them? They were 1 incompleted pass in the endzone and/or 1 dropped interception from winning……C’mon man

You mean they're not perfect? Like us???

“Failure is an opinion. It is either an educational tool for starting over or an excuse breeding tool for saying it’s over.” I think they will choose the former.

If you think we’re pissed you’d better be glad you were not in the post-game locker room.

I am gonna be sick...

Rooting for Peppers and Smith and Co. was nauseating to say the least. Nevertheless the Saints are almost a lock for home field advantage now. And I don’t give a crap if the Saints beat Tammy Faye by a late FG, they deserve home field. 3-4 weeks of R&R will really help this team and the D will be be flying around again for that first playoff game. Go Saints, beat the Bucs.

i hope GW

gets the D even halfway back on track for sundays game….a beat down of tampa would raise morale and boost confidence after a bad game against the cowgirls. and i mean a beat down, like a 40 burger!

We haven't reached 50 yet

We need to bring our average back up.

Apparently, the NFC South takes care of it's own

even when it’s own is it’s hated enemy. Thanks, Carolina. We were all having a really bad weekend until you came along and silvered up the lining.

Wow

Looks like the Panthers and Bucs are making a little noise here at the end of the season.Dammit man. They need to take the next couple of weeks off !!!!!!

And with the

friction just starting between Farve & Childress, our homefield advantage might come sooner. I too hated rooting for the Panthers yesterday but I think I was rooting harder for the Vikes to lose. Farve is starting to look like a 40 yr old qtrback Geuax Saints beat those Tampa Pansies!

Alright guys...............

Neither of our next wo opponents are going to lay down for us. They also will bring their A game and have nothing to lose. I dont see my Saints taking either one as a win without effort. They will have to play a complete game and I suggest the run to shorten the game and get out of there with the win. We need the number one seed and home field advantage now. It’s sitting right there to be had……………Do it !!!
