Q & A's with Bucs fans from Bucem.com
Hey Saints fans..This is Niko from Bucem, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers site on SB Nation. Something new weve been trying for the last four weeks that has worked really well, starting a fan post on the other teams site so EVERYONE can ask a question they want, and the discussion takes off from there.
I ask that you guys start one on Bucem.com, and please have your guys recommend this post so it stays up for people to see. We will do the same for yours.
Then we just ask each other questions.
Both sites are asked to respect the other sites normal policies. Not all SB Nation sites are created equally. Some have different rules of conduct, that can be taken the wrong way on another site. But so far, weve had nothing but a great time chatting it up with fans of the opponents!
So feel Free to chime in with your questions. They will be answered by me, anyone on Bucem, and maybe 5 people if they are a hot enough topic!!
Good Luck this week! Your (Not) going to need it!

Well, you have PROBABLY heard what happened to the Saints so, I doubt that you'll be getting much trash talk right off the bat.
We’re kind of tuckered out over and and trying to catch our breath.
These inter-blog chats are always fun, though. Hope y’all get some good gumbo and jambalaya while you’re in town.
(Now, let me start thinking up some good zingers for tomorrow. . . . . )

Our experience with these cross posts has not been trash talking..
its not supposed to be about trash talking, its about opening up dialogue for questioning.
Go Rams! en-dom-e-ken in 2010!
I didn't get to watch your game vs. Seattle - congrats by the way...
What did you do well vs. the Seahawks that we need to watch out for?

BUCWILD's PREACHING-
Consistency in Offensive play-calling is major, Run the ball and take lots of pressure off freeman- Let the dude complete some easy throws EX: Screens. Our Defenders have to be ready for brees- We don’t have a Demarcus Ware to pass rush by himself and allow our defenders to focus on coverage- so pressure will be a major factor for us.
Also, Our 3rd down guy-Sammie is IR’d so we need someone to step up and catch for once.

My first question would be.... how do you guys feel about the loss?
Coming from a Bucs team that was flat going into the playoffs in 2007 because of resting starters with nothing to win or lose, I would say this is an advantage for you guys, as you now have something to play for, and probably lit a fire under the Saints. What do you guys say?
Go Rams! en-dom-e-ken in 2010!
It was a fluke
Our team played flat and got out played and out coached Dallas played their best game of the season
And we still had a chance to win at the end
I hope the Cowboys win in the first round of the playoffs and have to come back to the dome
Then we will shut them up for awhile when we hit them with a healthy team with everthing on the line
I think you're right
We had incredible luck…who didn’t think the Nick Folk miss was a gift from heaven, and the Saints would win just as they did at Washington? But it wasn’t enough, and now maybe the Saints won’t rely too much on luck going their way.
Our motto in 2007 was “Earn It.” Didn’t work out very well that year…but everyone around here remembers it. Some still have the T-shirts. Time for the Saints to go back to earning it. We’ll find out Sunday if the Saints have got their minds right…and you guys have the bad luck to be up first. It could be a long afternoon for you.

we hurt
As my in-laws said about losing and breaking a long win streak in talking to my wife last night…
“You have to wait until the sadness passes, before you can talk to him about it.”
But, we are hopeful for the next game.

Going off of Simone's Comment-
Was the loss- a factor of Dallas showing up or the saints not showing up? What went wrong during that game? How is Malcolm Jenkins progressing so far this year.
Need a New Sig- LOOKING FOR IDEAS!
yes and no
i think we are just tired as a team, weve been taking a lot of teams best games. dallas, washington, atlanta all played very well against us. that was the best ive seen dallas play in a while and we still had a chance to send it into ot. we didnt catch very many breaks with penalties, a dropped td, a dropped int, etc. but i can assure you that the result wont be the same if we play dallas in the playoffs. as far as what went wrong, obviously ware went wrong. the dude wasnt even supposed to start and lit us up. jenkins has consistently been picked on since he has been starting. he is still young, and caused some big turnovers on special teams earlier in the season but he needs some time and exp to become a better cb.

I really thought a few weeks ago that it would come down to Minnesota and New Orleans;
and that I could see the Vikes D shutting down your running game but not vice versa. Now it would seem Dallas is peaking at the right time, and I agree with you guys that if there is a rematch, the Saints will spank Dallas.
As for this upcoming game though, wouldnt you say that you guys should take it to us like you did a few weeks ago in Tampa. If we can keep it a game into the second half, that tells me the Bucs really are improved and playing over our heads…which is a good sign going into the offseason.

I think
If Shockey had played it would have been different
Dave Thomas would have played FB more and been able to help our left tackle (who’s name i prefer not to speak) and maybe given Brees a little more time

Questions for Niko
1. Can the Bucs exploit that Saints deficiencies at cornerback?
2. How is the Bucs pass rush looking? Predict number of sacks and who gets them.
3. Are the Bucs running up the middle more or around the end? Do you think the Bucs can go over 100 yards against the Saints d-line?
5. How has Michael Clayton been doing?
6. Has Dave the Falconer made you hate the Falcons more, less, or about the same?
7. Have you attended games in Nola before?
8. Have you been all through One Buck Place, the Bucs training facility?
9. What do you think of the pirate ship in the stadium?
wow xen, i think the only thing you left off was “how does my butt look in these jeans?” but actually some really good questions.
In his usual cerebral way, interspersed with wit and charm!
(Dave the Falconer secretly likes the Saints better than the Falcons. Shhhhhh.)

Im not answering 6-9(Note*-There is no 4)
1. Yes and No, Depends on Josh Freeman
2. Pass rush is much better, Can’t say number of sacks or who gets them as they are completely unpredicable.
3. Towards right tackle and end, NO since noone has been able to.
4. Michael Clayton Sucks- FOR MORE ON THIS FOLLOW 80sucks.com.
Desean Jackson is one hell of a guy
yea, #4 was deleted
it wasn’t as awesome as some of my other questions. sorry bro. Gracias for answering.
I think the loss was a good think, even though you always hate to lose....
going into game 15 undefeated would be like when the pitcher just pitched 7 innings of a perfect game and no one wants to talk to him but no one wants to avoid him. And, no one wants to make an error. All that’s gone now and we still have alot to play for Sunday. Hopefuly we can win and then have one throw away game vs Panthers and a one week bye and then home field advantage.
Niko, I have a question. It seems a lot of Saints fans, IMO, don’t really appreciate the amount of advantage for the playoffs that we have with a bye week, home field advantage, and 2 regular games left that we are not in a desperate all out war to get a playoff berth. Since you are a non-Saints fan, what’s your take on that?
