I totally agree!
To be quite honest, I’m kinda relieved that this whole perfection crap has come to an end. Now we can concentrate on the perfect record that REALLY matters, and that’s the one in post season! WHO DAT!
let's start a 3-game winning streak on the weekend of Jan 16-17, 2010

Great read
it baffles me that a lot of Saints fans are giving up on the season after one game. It was just that ONE GAME. It didn’t even mean anything other than not being perfect on the season. Even though I would have liked to go undefeated I knew in the back of my mind that going undefeated during the season probably would have taken all of our focus away from achieving the goal that actually means something and thats winning the Super Bowl.
I would rather have one loss in the regular season that one in the playoffs. We only have to win one game out of these 2 to gain homefield. Then we can get some much needed rest. I think there will be some major adjustments made in film sessions after a loss rather than a win. SP will move some pieces around especially on the O-line and GW already has Porter back who looked very good even though he just came off of injury. I still wish they would have started him against Miles Austin than Jenkins but maybe they were trying to ease him in instead of throw him out there after he’’s been out for several weeks. We’ll be fresh when Greer is ready and will have 2 great nickle and dime corners so we can get back to causing turnovers.
All is well WHO DAT NATION… its only one game… and we are still the #1 seed… Dallas is still fighting to just make it. They have to play the Redskins in DC against a defense that had them dead to rights if it wasn’t for their kicker missing a FG in Dallas….he’s gone now…. and I don’t think Romo wants to face a Redskins team that has confidence on Offense to go along with that D.
Get ready to FEEL DAT BREES!!!

It's kind of like "Let's Make a Deal."
We have curtains #1, #2, & #3. One of them has a perfect regular season behind it. One has a Superbowl victory. The other has memories of a really good 2009 season.
If you already knew what was behind each curtain, which one would you pick?
See, this stuff ain’t really that complicated, is it?

Hey JND, How is it going over there ?
You need to read my post in the “After the showing” post and let me know what you think.
Amen, amen, I totally agree
and the other playoff teams such as Minnesota, Phila, Green Bay Dallas, and Giants are fighting for their lives or their seeding and have to play very physical opponents down the stretch such as each other or Denver, Chicago, etc . They will beat each other up and hopefully we can cruise a little bit, epecially with a first round bye. None of these teams scare me- I know we can beat Dallas if we play them again, we already beat the Giants and Phila. I admit the Eagles are on a roll, but they haven’t beat any good teams this year- the only good teams they played (Chargers,Dallas, Saints) they lost to. Minnesota is hard to figure, but I think, if we get to that point, we win in the dome. They seem to be imploding and between Favre being too old, and some of their guys being too young possibly, it favors us. Green Bay just doesn’t have the guns to get to the NFC Championship game. I like our chances.
