what is the record for no of players on ir?

"I was so excited because I thought I was going to be the hero,’’ Nicks said, smiling. "I knew exactly what I was going to do - I was going to jump from the 6-yard line like Reggie (Bush).’’

So, is Eckel back or not? And if so, who did he replace?

CP

I’m telling you man. I think all you have to do is throw your hat in the ring and the Saints might pick you up.

You haven’t seen the size of my head. My hat might swallow the ring.

maybe you could just lay your head down on the turf and block the oncoming rushers to protect Brees?

that's something we haven't yet done this year

I’d love to see it – reminding us of the 1987 team with REggie “no that white powder under my nose is beignet sugar” Sutton, Johnnie Poe, Frank Wattelet, Dave Waymer, and the krewe blocking and then scooping and scoring…

If the Saints

Sign a QB I’m gonna SH&*&^%^&T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That certainly wouldn’t be the worst position to address going into the playoffs.

The next game I going to be looking for little notes pinned on the Saints uniforms -

“You are a Fullback today.” etc.

This is good

It will give Dave Thomas more time at full back and he can help our no name left tackle block( I know his name I just dont feel like saying it in case it makes me gag )

So I'm not the only one

blaming that loss on the left tackle.

by BigTMill on Dec 22, 2009 8:28 PM CST up reply actions

See that line behind you?

Seriously, though, I’m sure he feels bad enough and I’m anxious to see how he does this Sunday. Might be a little pissed, me thinks!

give Bushrod a break

He’s young and he’s raw. He was not supposed to be starting this year. Consider that he had never started a game prior to this year, or had never really had any real play time either. I think he’s done a great job this year as a whole. Have we all forgotten who lead the league in sacks last year? Demarcus Ware…20 sacks. Ware is a monster, and he was playing to keep his season alive.

Id blame it more on Payton not giving Bushrod help. Reminded me of last year watching Abraham dominate Jamal Brown and never getting help with him.

Payton even said as much in his press conference. Said he should have given Bushrod more help.

They could have given Brown a ton of help by keeping him at RT and drafting Ferguson in ’06. Or Oher this past April. We all know what was “more of a need at the time” [sic].
