Brees gonna throw down the Saints... Wide open Devery Henderson! Nobody's within twenty yards of him! He could do the backstroke into the end zone from there! And he'll take it in for a seventy-five yard touchdown strike!

its worse than the beating the giants took
because its OUR team, and they were playing a 2-12 team at home, with home field advantage on the line, and they stunk up the field when they should have put a beat down on a bad team
"These two teams just should not play each other" ...John Madden during a 1991 Saints-Eagles game
EPIC...FAIL
That was as disappointing a loss as we’ve had in a long, long, LONG time. All the hard work this season, potentially for nothing. To have this kind of season and not get homefield would be unthinkable. Now we get to go to the HOT, HOT Panthers who just laid one on the Giants. This team needs to do some soul-searching if we’re going anywhere.
Man, the most important thing for a SB win is going into the playoffs on a hot streak..
Siragusa or whatever his name is, kept saying that there was no emotion on our bench, nobody was saying anything.. That’s embarrassing, especially for a 13-2 team.. You’re supposed to go into the playoffs on a hot streak, god help me
The Saints permitted Tampa Bay to score 20 unanswered points
20 unanswered. Let that sink in. This ship is sinking fast. The Saints once again were only able to score 17 points on offense. This is flat out ugly. I don’t care if they’re 13-2. They’re supposed to beat teams like the Bucs. Hartley missing the FG wasn’t the problem. The Saints offense collapsed yet again. I’ll always be a Saints fan, but I need to try to distance myself because I got my hopes up this year. This is plain ugly. The Saints learned absolutely nothing after their loss to the Cowboys.
And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.
We are BAD right now
The Saints have been mediocre at best for over a month now. I’m tired of making excuses for them. Carolina is going to shread us next week.
At least
Shockey and Greer will be ready for the playoffs.
Sucks that we might lose PT, though.

Once again
How the FUCK do we lose to the Bucs?
by Jee on Dec 27, 2009 3:18 PM CST via mobile reply actions
Bucs always seem to find a way to beat us in the Dome. Usually in the “heartbreaker” variety too.
"Drew Breeeeeeeees!" "Oh, yeah."
No bigger heartbreaker
Than that ‘07 loss with the botched toss. We could’ve had momentum to go to the playoffs that year. I won’t forget Reggie crying on the sidelines after that one.

by letting them run all over us, for starters

because at 13-1 with home field advantage on the line
the team didnt show up on either side of the ball….and the head coach made the worst call of the season on 4th and inches
"These two teams just should not play each other" ...John Madden during a 1991 Saints-Eagles game
lol man, I don't even care about losing to the bucs..
I wanted us to go into the playoffs on a hot streak, 2 losses in a row is not defined as a hot streak
they play like this next week
and it’ll be 3 in a row

Also
I thought we fixed our secondary? How do we give up so many passing yards to mostly mediocre QB’s in our last 4 games?!?!?!
Saints better get their SH!T together. I’d rather can GW than Payton. Sure he makes mistakes but he’s also the reason we have a high powered O. What a letdown to have an 8th ranked D suddenly go down to what, 24th by now?

and the worst part is, sean payton always says the same bullshit during his press conferences
some of you guys might not be worried, but this is actually scary man, we’ve lost 2 in a row, and we’re going into carolina next week, playing against a team who just beat the vikings and the giants, none of you guys are worried? WE JUST LOST TO THE BUCS, THE DAMN BUCS

Squash…no one can shut me up. Just telling it like it is. NFC is wide open and Saints fans were crowning their team way too early. Eagles are better than the Saints in my opinion.
Oh yeah, it's business time, it's business time.
Who would have thought
That our last game at Carolina would be the Biggest Game of the 09 Season?
I know, Panthers are hot right now. Our Rush D blows, and blahblahblah.
Keep your heads up. Carolina is still a beatable team. Shit, everyone thought we were gonna demolish fucking Tampa today. It’s the NFL = anything can happen.
Don’t write the Saints off so prematurely. We won’t rest anyone next week. Maybe Shockey and Greer will be back. Payton will do everything in his power to win the last game and start us off on good momentum. Believe it!
It is a horrible feeling to lose back-to-back to 2 teams that we all hate more than ever, but BE +…
If we have this bad of an attitude, we’re gonna get eaten alive in the 2nd round. I don’t want that to happen.
by Jee on Dec 27, 2009 3:32 PM CST via mobile reply actions
"Our" attitude doesn't have anything to do with it.
The attitude of the team is the only thing that matters. And their attitude didn’t look too good today.
If our attitudes are bad it’s only from repetition. How many late-season collapses have we endured watching this team? We all want them to win…it’s just not looking so great right now.
And yeah, the Saints players aren’t showing a ton of confidence in themselves either. The loss to the Cowboys hurt but this one was much more painful. That game could be explained away by a lot of things. What can you really say today? The Bucs were 2-12 and we were at home and got outplayed.
At least the Vikings are beginning to buckle as well…
"Drew Breeeeeeeees!" "Oh, yeah."
Well
Looks like Jim Caldwell’s got Coach of the Year locked up by now
