I guess Jones was in a Daze when he missed that tackle.

And the turnstile keeps ‘a turnin’.

Fat, dumb, and happy. Hell, two out of three ain't bad!

rotoworld.com:

Tory Humphrey-TE – Aug. 13 – 10:40 am et
Packers placed TE Tory Humphrey on injured reserve with a broken forearm, ending his season.
He spent all of 2008 ahead of rookie Jermichael Finley on the depth chart and caught 11 passes, but that changed this offseason with Finley making major strides.

Tory Humphrey-TE – Aug. 20 – 9:43 pm et
Packers waived TE Tory Humphrey (broken forearm) with an injury settlement.
The Packers No. 3 tight end broke his forearm early in camp. He could resurface with another team in October or November, but Green Bay doesn’t want him.
Tory Humphrey-TE – Saints Dec. 21 – 7:54 pm et
Saints signed former Packers TE Tory Humphrey.
Humphrey adds insurance to the Saints, as Jeremy Shockey is dealing with a toe injury.
Tory Humphrey-TE – Saints Dec. 26 – 10:42 pm et
Saints waived TE Tory Humphrey.
Jeremy Shockey (toe) is ready to go this week so Humphrey is gone.
Tory Humphrey-TE- Saints Dec. 29 – 9:10 pm et
Saints re-signed TE Tory Humphrey.
This doesn’t say much for Jeremy Shockey’s (turf toe) chances of playing Sunday against the Panthers. David Thomas will start if Shockey can’t go.

Tpic:

…while releasing cornerback Greg Fassitt and safety Herana-Daze Jones. Fassitt was re-signed to the practice squad.

Here’s why the two “special team specialists” were cut, per Duncan:

Several things went wrong for the Saints on Spurlock’s punt return. First of all, gunner Greg Fassitt was knocked to the ground in pursuit, a major no-no for the lead gunner. Pierson Prioleau and Jeff Charleston also lost their footing while trying to corral Spurlock along the wall, then newly signed Herana-Daze Jones missed an open-field tackle and Spurlock was off to the races.

Peace, love and understanding.

Saints also resigned Rodney Leisle

You remember Rodney. Well actually, there are 2 Rodneys: The Rodney his mother loves:

And then there is BadAss Rodney, pictured here:

I hope we resigned BadAss Rodney.
Wiki:

He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at UCLA. Leisle has also been a member of the New York Giants, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Arizona Cardinals.

Rotoworld.com:

Rodney Leisle-DL- Cardinals Mar. 18 – 11:12 pm et
Cardinals signed DT Rodney Leisle to a one-year contract.
The Cards will try Leisle at the nose, although he’ll likely have a hard time making the team. Gabe Watson and Bryan Robinson return and it’s doubtful Arizona is ready to give up on 2007 second-round pick Alan Branch.

Scout.com:

March 18, 2009 at 9:26pm ET
The Arizona Cardinals reached a one-year deal with free agent DT Rodney Leisle on Wednesday, Scout.com has confirmed. The former fifth-round pick of the New Orleans Saints from the 2004 draft spent the first three years of his career with New Orleans then was out of the league in 2007. Leisle had a strong pre-season with the New York Giants in 2008, but suffered a season-ending rib injury last August. He’ll compete for playing time against DTs Alan Branch and Gabe Watson.

Peace, love and understanding.

I'm glad they are still trying to get depth and find the right guys

also happy Daze Jones is gone and Fassitt to PS— also I thought they signed Humphrey last week- never knew they got rid of him. At least these guys will have fresh legs. But, Fassit and Jones didn’t look like they had fresh legs!!

Perhaps their legs were fresh, but Spurlock’s legs were fresher. I think we should start a petition, imploring the NFL to issue best by dates to all players and/or their limbs. It would make these leg freshness evaluations so much easier.
