The Panthers are counting on Moose to be their No. 1 receiver with Steve Smith done for the year. Muhammad should be able to play against the Saints.

Muhsin Muhammad stated Wednesday that he does not anticipate retiring after this season.
He isn’t giving up after recording an electrifying (and career worst) 10.8 yards-per-catch average in 2009. Muhammad turns 37 in May and doesn’t have a contract for 2010. He probably won’t garner any interest on the open market.
