new secondary

Hopefully mike Mckenzie stays healthy, this years secondary should be the best we had in a while. with the signing of bartell or not our corner position is only missing one peice. If we can get a reliable safety to go along with Roman Harper our secondary has improved. This could very well be how our secondary could look next year:

FS-Greg Sensabaugh or whatever we do in the draft(hopefully Mike Jenkins falls)

SS-Roman Harper

CB-Mike Mckenzie

CB-Tracy Porter

MM should be..

the nickel back if we keep him. I’d love to pick up Bartell.
CB- Porter
CB- Bartell
FS- Gerald Sensbaugh
SS- Roman Harper

MM, JD, and Gay as nickel back…

heard that

Usama Young could be moved to S, he originally was a S,it might help him in the long run, and MM also to S,w/Harper as back-up, Porter as CB, draft another CB,lots of DB’s in this draft, no excuse to not get somebody that could play immediately…

MM

was a solid contributer when he was healthy, but he’s washed up now. Don’t mean to sound unloyal- realistically, he’s done; Nickel at best. And Gay is NOT a starter.

MM

I’d like to see what he’s got, post rehab. He seems like a smart guy who wouldn’t take the field knowing he’ll be burned on every play because he’s lost 2 steps. He may be washed up, but let’s see what he’s got left.

I'm down with G-Dub.
