Saints Free Agency Signings Going Well?

The fellas over at the Times-Pic are keeping track of the Saints free agency moves to date and Mike Triplett seems to think so far, so good.

I definitely expect the Saints to re-sign backup quarterback Joey Harrington, assuming he doesn't get a significant opportunity elsewhere. Other than that, there aren't a lot of high-priority guys left to be re-signed.

Umm, hello! What about Josh Bullocks and Martin Gramatica!?!?! We need to get those two locked up toot sweet!

By the way, you can now keep up with the Saints free agency moves with our state-of-the-art free agency tracker in the right sidebar just below the regular poll. This comes courtesy of MtnExile. Thank you!!

Bullocks

at least he can be an asset to the special teams. Unlike Martin, who I drafted in the fantasy league we had, who couldn’t get it done.

This may sound insane

but I’m not terminally disappointed in Bullocks yet. I want to see how he does in a rational scheme. He does have a tendency to take bad angles in pursuit; but I wonder if he wouldn’t be serviceable in a system that at least didn’t constantly put him in the wrong place.

Oh when the Saints...Start kicking ass...You don't want to be in that number...

better than nothing

if we dont sign him, then what are our options at safety?

Going well?

I agree with use signing Vilma was huge and signing sting. was also a good move. But we havent signed any one that wasnt there last year so whats so good about it? We are rite were we were at the end of the season and I’ve been refreshing CSC and ESPN and NFL.com every half hour in the hopes that there saints have picked up bartell or that safety we have coming today ( ya I dont know how to say his name or spell it) I just want to see one big free agent pick up so i have some thing to look forward to during the offseason.

Question: Where is this state-of-the-art FA tracker again? I don't see squat!

RE: Welcome to CSC!!!

Thanks for the welcome! I should have realized that it was on the home page only and not on every page with every posted article. Duh!

We should see a FS signing early next week (IMO)

With Gerald Sensabaugh in town today and tomorrow and Darren Sharper scheduled to be there on Monday, I bet the Saints make an offer to one of the two by Tuesday. Don’t you think?

yup, I bet you're right

The Detroit Lions are on the clock!

Bullocks is still young enough to keep around… I have a feeling that ( as long as we’re not overpaying him) another year may be worth it to see if he can pick up Williams system…. espc since Williams says that he works to players stregnths

I COULD LET THESE DREAM KILLERS KILL MY SELF ESTEEM OR USE MY ARROGANCE AS A STEAM TO POWER MY DREAMS!
