here we go again
Now I dont quite know what to think of these guys or this site, being that I have been banned from becoming a member. Dont ask me why...I dont know myself. Nonetheless, they have this to say about LT and the Saints. If this turns out to have any validity and they are interested then ....well... we´ll see if this was just more BS speculation. It would be pretty funny if they did though.

Tomlinson a Saint?
I don’t see it happening. Unless we lose Jahri Evans and then get an extra 1st round pick plus a 3rd round pick, we don’t really have any picks to trade for LT. With our current maxed-out salary cap, we probably couldn’t even meet his price. Plus, do we really want him? I’d rather see the Saints pick up a big bruiser back like Deuce was a couple of years ago. LT is probably a future Hall of Famer and he was great in his prime. Does he still have some greatness left?
I believe the guys at the above link are just pulling stuff out of their asses. I would be very surprised to see Will-Mis-Pay make a major play for LT. Still, I know Brees and LT are very good friends and they may like to play together again. Maybe if Brees pulls a Payton and gives up part of his salary to bring in LT, it might happen.
Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

my big question is how they can sign anyone
regardless of who it is. I maen mathematically after the current signings they should be as you say “maxed out” i.e. Broke! I do wonder though where the dude got his infos as I checked several places and found nothing of the sort except that LTs future in SD is far from certain.

My question is Who put that ugly web page up?
Saints Gab? Like, we have the inside track, all Saints gossip starts here? Please. So exclusive, even Shecky can’t get in. Not interested.
I'm down with G-Dub.

Highly Doubt This
This is a very interesting post and it excites me at the thought of having the best offense EVER if we add Tomlinson, but there is no possible way we can bring him to the Big Easy.
1. We have said a countless amount of times we will not be big players in free agency, and if we are it will be on the defensive side of the ball. We have already supposedly made an offer to Bartell which is good, and I expect us to make an offer to Sharper or Sensabaugh, preferably Sensabaugh because he is younger and has played for Williams in past seasons and JAX. He should leave his Guns there though. So where is the money for Tomlinson going to come from?
2. Even if we were to have interest from the Chargers for a trade, what do we give up? We are short on draft picks and money, not a great start if we are aiming to trade for arguably one of the best running backs of all time. Although he had a sub-par year for his standards, do not fall in to the trap that he will cost less money because of that, I know and he knows hes got a lot left in the tank! Maybe he may ask for less but we still most likely can’t pay him that money! Brees taking a paycut would be amazing but i highly doubt it, the number one offense two years in a row and now we need Tomlinson? Not really
This is most likely a pile of crap, I would welcome Tomlinson with open arms and would love seeing him in a Saints Uniform, I can envison it, but only in my dreams because I doubt it happens! If it does, props to Shecky and hello Tomlinson!
