We are People of the South Wind

Not really. The people that were here before we took over were the Kaw Tribe, or Kanza (people of the wind)

That looks like an old artificial turf field. U of Hawaii can’t afford Field Turf?

that was an awesome throw and catch!

I’m glad Drew finally got a TD. It will probably be the Eli show in the 2nd half. How great is it to watch Drew hand off to Adrian Peterson? I could get used to seeing that as long as they were both in Saints uniforms. Jammal Brown got beat on two different plays in the 1st half, which left Drew in a couple of bad situations. I wonder if Drew has been trying to recruit any future Saints like maybe Asomugha or Haynesworth.

Go Saints!!!!

Unreal pass and catch. Brees just bombed it down. It was in perfect position. Beautiful pass.

Saint Drew COMPLETELY finishes his season on a 46 yard TD bomb.

That may be a good omen for next season. I’m just happy he didn’t get injured this time. I doubt we’ll see him on the field again in this game.

Go Saints!!!!

Once again...

Jammal Brown gets beat bad. He hasn’t looked good today. He must have left his brain on the airplane.

Go Saints!!!!

so

what does a fullback have to do to get into the pro bowl? cause Karney is a beast, i wanna see him make it. I think i’m the only person who gets excited about fullbacks :/, what i played in highschool. They’re the beastliest

by fruly on Feb 8, 2009 5:52 PM CST reply actions

I only ask

cause i see mike sellers. I’m suprised they even invite 1 to the pro bowl now :/. I hope we see a resurgence of the fullback soon. I think defenses are getting smaller so teams will go back to power run. Bring back the fullback yay

by fruly on Feb 8, 2009 5:55 PM CST up reply actions

I think you have to get a reputation for blocking like an MFer, and maybe having a successful running game

Alstott made it from TB as a FB a few years in a row for his combo of blocking and short-yardage TDs.

yea alstott is the

only cool tampa bay buc player ever. one of my favorite pros ever. i wish the rest of the world knew how bad ass karney is.

Does anyone else...

hate these sideline interviews by Andrea Cramer while the FRICKIN’ game is going on? Maybe if she’d interview Drew I would change my tune.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Feb 8, 2009 5:57 PM CST reply actions

This was actually a good game.

Maybe I was a little too hard on Jammal Brown earlier as he’s had to play both LT and RT throughout this game. I don’t know how difficult it is to make that transition multiple times in a game, but maybe it affected his play. It’s just nice to see two black and gold helmets out there instead of zero like last year. NFC WINS! Let the offseason player shuffling begin! I only wish that didn’t have to include Deuce.

Go Saints!!!!
