Around SBN: Bracketology 2012: Duke Finally Steps Up To The No. 1 Line

Wondering how #94 has been spending his time lately with injury rehab, StarCaps, and a criminal trial and civil suit hanging over his head? Here are the answers.

"I know there’s a lot of people in this world who don’t like me, or hate me because of who I am and how hard I work," Grant said. "But I pray for them all the time. I have no hate in my heart for people. I’m not a hateful person. A lot of people, when they look at me, they say. ‘Hey that’s an African-American man and he has plenty of money (he signed a seven-year $63 million deal with the Saints in April 2007).’ It ain’t all about that. At the end of the day, when we’re all dead and gone, that money is still going to be here.

"So what I’m saying is, ‘I love me some me.’ I love kids. I want kids to do the best in the world they can. The things that happened to me only made me a better person."

Hey Big

Glad you’ll start posting.

Because of what he’s been through I think Grant is greateful for what he has and learned from Deuce how to give back. That being said….

You’re right, he has to step (very) up. I just hope Pay-Loo do have an eye for great talent and didn’t make a mistake throwing so much money at him.

SB minus just a D above average.

Wait a second...
Fresh off his motorcycle

Payloo, you see this? Might be our chance to really get under the cap!

Thanks Deuce!

As far as him getting paid

I can’t argue with the decision they made at the time. If they didn’t pay the ends, everyone would have been saying….“How do you expect people to stay if you don’t pay them” I try not to forget that. I just hope we don’t end up saying “If you don’t earn it, you won’t stay around”. Only because I hope he actually DOES work hard and earns his paycheck so I won’t have to say he didn’t earn it and that’s why he got cut.

looking forward to 2010

wtf

Is he saying that he knows people don’t like him because of his character (he is an idiot/has terrible character/and is a cheater) and because of his work ethic (he’s fat and lazy) ??

But he prays for those people. Because being a giant fatass who takes all but 1 play off per game can make millions, while the rest of us have to work.

Please cut this loser. Please.

What flavor is that hater-ade?

Just kidding. Always wanted to use that.

I wouldn’t go as far as you, but it is a strange thing to say. He comes across as being paranoid, self-centered, and lazy all at the same time. Charles hasn’t learned that journalists only want a good interview—they don’t care how it affects you, just so long as it gets them attention. The best thing is to deal with the media the same way you deal with cops: just shut up.

(Of course, that doesn’t count for blogs. We’d love to interview you, Charles.)

RE-SIGN LANCE MOORE!
