Bartell Chooses Rams Over Saints
Guess we will have to look elsewhere. Per wwltv.com.
One of the NFL's top free agent cornerbacks has decided to return to the St. Louis Rams despite being offered a five-year deal by the Saints.
Ron Bartell signed a similar length deal with the Rams, Eyewitness Sports Juan Kincaid has learned.
Bartell visited with the Saints last week and ESPN.com said he was one of the top free agent cornerbacks available.
And some more linkage courtesy of NewOrleans2Florida.
A couple of days after making a free-agent visit to the New Orleans Saints, the Rams cornerback reached a four-year, $28 million deal to stay in St. Louis, according to a source. Included in the deal is $13.6 million in guarantees.

He'll regret it
Oh, maybe not today…but soon, and for the rest of his life.
Oh when the Saints...Start kicking ass...You don't want to be in that number...

We won't
Man without the good judgment to play in front of the truest fans in the league doesn’t deserve to.
I’m with satchmo26…Next!

I think it also speaks to a guy staying where he’s at, rather than moving to the unknown. Rams will be better this year.
I'm down with G-Dub.

How could they be worse?
Yeah, I guess they could lose 15 games.

Home Grown
That’s the best kind. However, that’s pretty hard when you trade your draft choices for quality players. I reckon free agency is an alternative. It’s hard to see them fizzle, though, after getting these fat contracts.

please don't let
it be sharper – it take mr. ak47 instead in a heartbeat – he already knows g.w.’s system, although that would give us two strong safeties, maybe they could trade harper though

Trade a guy named Roman?!?
What would the Emperor say?
Wouldn’t it make sense to look at a relatively young back?
