Listening to the broadcast
I don’t like the way the guy talks. It sounds weird.
He claims that PT is not durable enough to carry the load and talks up Beanie Wells as the answer. Wells was hurt as well and with his style of running he will prone to more injuries. Another problem with Wells is his lack of receptions in college.
Another problem with Wells
—his motivation issues.
—his inability to pass block.
—his lousy route running.
—his tendency to take plays off.
He’s big and he’s fast, and that’s all he is. He is not Deuce. Give Thomas the chance he’s earned.
And for God’s sake, re-sign Lance Moore. I’d like to be able to change my signature.
RE-SIGN LANCE MOORE!
I think since they've tendered him (Lance) they have to wait until the end of free agency and then the tendered offer becomes a contract for him to sign

Yeah, what Hans said
I read in the Times-Pic chat today that they expect him to be re-signed around April 17, when free agency ends. They have to give him that time to test the market. He ain’t going anywhere.
Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Why would that be?
It’s a contract offer…he can sign it whenever he wants. Maybe he’s not signed it yet because he’s working on getting more money.
Has anyone heard any news on Lance? Has he visited other teams? Has he fielded calls? Is his agent in the middle of gender reassignment or what?
RE-SIGN LANCE MOORE!
Mike Triplett said this today in regards to Moore:
Hey Michael — no need to worry about that. The Saints aren’t going to lose Lance Moore. … I’ve actually read a lot of comments and questions, etc., from people who don’t seem to fully understand how restricted free agency works.
The Saints have offered Moore the required one-year contract that puts them in a great position to keep him. Chances are, he’ll sign that one-year deal after April 17, when his window for negotiating with other teams is done. Then at some point in the future, the Saints may work out a long-term deal with him.
In order for another team to sign Moore, they would A) have to offer him a long-term contract that he chooses to sign. So it would have to be big bucks, etc., and be enough to sway him away from New Orleans, where he’s obviously very comfortable. Then B) the Saints could choose to match that offer and keep Moore. Or the team would have to give the Saints a 2nd-round draft pick if the Saints decide to let him go — in addition to all the money they’re paying Moore.
I haven’t heard of any other teams expressing an interest him. Most probably don’t want to give up a 2nd round pick for him as they may think his success last year was a product of working with Drew in Payton’s pass-happy offensive system.

That first little bit is a quote and should be blocked off too. I wish we could edit these posts.

Agent told him to sit tight
Just in case more $$$ rolls in. What’s the rush? Except for M-E’s stomach acid level.
GW: "Sean, I can’t do anything with this guy."
right...he could sign it anytime, maybe, but like the Vilma situation, he wants to return, but must play the waiting game until the end of FA
maybe he is fielding offers, or waiting to see what materializes…whatever. I hope he’s a Saint next year and then we lock him up with a 3-4 year deal after that…
