Any personnel move is a good personnel move for New Orleans Saints secondary
Now, most would assume cornerback Jason David would be on the dismissal list. Actually, most probably would prefer that David be shown the door and while yours truly could've been counted in that number early last season, no one can say David didn't get better in the second half of the season, or that he didn't re-earn playing time and trust down the stretch.

word.
I know I’ve been saying that Knowshon’s a likely first-round pick, but I really hope I’m totally wrong about that. The more I think about it, the more foolish that scenario is, and Payton is going to have to deal with an angry pitchfork-wielding mob if they use the pick on offense.
It wouldn’t be out of character, but we really don’t need to get better offensively. We need to stop other teams from outscoring us. Pretty basic, really.

i thought he did a good job in the 2nd half but just isn’t consistent enough. maybe keep him as a backup. I think that Payton will go defense also because he knows that we need to start winning now and the only way we start winning now is if our defense becomes alot better. they have to be able to win us a football game or 2.
Superbowl bound!!!...I hope? Go Saints! :D

Payton may already think the defense is fixed
With the firing of Gary Gibbs and the hiring of Gregg Williams, Payton may think the defensive problems from last season have already been addressed to the point that adding a first round draft pick on that side of the ball may not be necessary. I think the smart move would be to draft a 1st round defensive player either in the secondary or at linebacker, but Payton may think otherwise. Don’t be surprised if he takes a power RB. Pat Y is reporting that Payton said he’s looking at that position more than any other. Of course, that may just be a smokescreen. Whatever he plans for the draft, the defense has already had the best possible addition it could get with the hiring of a new coordinator.
Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

It's not......
an easy decision.
For what it’s worth, this is how I think it will go down.
If Arron Curry is off the board then I think SP will go with a RB. If he’s not, I think we take Curry.
I know, it’s a longshot.

I might be a little late, but..
the Saints have agreed to terms with DT Rod Coleman on a 1 year contract.. Bill Johnson and him go way back.. I wonder who’s going to start beside sedrick ellis next season, maybe DeMario Pressley?
