Sean Payton failed to beat his wife...in this years Crescent City Classic 10-K road race. Per the Times-Pic.
"Now all of a sudden she's got me, for the whole year," said Payton, who said they were running together for most of the race until he had to stop and walk at a water station. "She got about a block ahead, and I couldn't catch her. We had a bet going, and she started running faster to make sure I wasn't catching up."
The Saints head coach did, however, run a better time than the Easter Bunny.
"I beat the rabbit," Payton said. "In fact, we're going to be eating him. We're putting him in our gumbo tonight."
I have never personally ever heard of putting rabbit in gumbo but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Rabbit gumbo
Absolutely. Just make sure you use the solid rabbits…they don’t melt as fast.

Need to come down I-10 to Iowa. Rabbit petting zoo in the front, rabbit gumbo in the back.
The cute ones get bought, the ugly ones go in the roux.
