Chris "Beanie" Wells, RB, Ohio State
Ever since the Texans franchise began in 2002 when they drafted former John Curtis and Ohio State alum Jonathan Wells in the 4th round, they've been searching for a powerback. Well here they get one with another Wells from OSU, Beanie Wells. The Texans suprisingly got a very productive rookie campaign out of 3rd round pick Steve Slaton but they believe the addition of Wells would give them a dynamic duo similar to Carolina's Williams and Stewart combo. Though they may go safety or cornerback with this pick, I believe they can get good value players at those positions in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, whereas the running back talent pool isn't nearly as deep.

That’s an interesting point.
But I feel their offense was pretty good, and that they need to get better on D right away, to improve this season. I think they’d instead go Jenkins or LB in the first round.

No thank you Wells. Our team needs Safety, OLB, Corner, and DT all more than it needs a big back to spell Slaton. Expect us to use a 3rd or 4th rounder on a big back on draft day.
