yeah, but what about Harry Douglas?

rotoworld.com:

Falcons acquired TE Tony Gonzalez from the Chiefs in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
KC got its asking price, but not for this year. Gonzo is 33, but coming off a 96-catch, 1,058-yard, 10-touchdown season. He obviously has a lot left, and going to a dome can’t hurt. Atlanta relies on the run more the 2008 Chiefs did, though, and while Matt Ryan can only get better Gonzo’s numbers will likely dip some. He’ll steer some attention away from Roddy White, but could also cut into possession receiver Michael Jenkins’ targets.

reaction on Arrowhead Pride

here

NOOOOOOOOO
Oh my God. This is awful.
Must trust Pioli. Must trust Pioli. Must trust Pioli.
Whate the hell?!
A 2nd rounder for next year? My hopes for our offense’s success’ has significantly dropped. Tony will definitely be missed every Sunday.
A 3rd rounder in 2009 is worth a hell of a lot more to our team than a late 2nd rounder in 2010.
The 3rd had been offered already and we passed it up for a 2010 2nd…. what in the fck?
Hopefully the Falcons suck
and we get a higher pick and Tony can go eat some humble pie next year just like Jason Taylor did this year

Curses!!

Dave the Falconer will probably be happy about this. How dare the other teams in the division take steps to improve their team! Don’t they know this is supposed to be our year. This only adds to my concern that Atlanta will be our toughest divisional foe this season.

Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Why does everyone hate the 2010 Pick?

2010 is a MUCH deeper class than 2009, and the Falcons won’t pick higher than 24 anyways. It’s a great deal for the Chiefs… they do have Brad Cottam hanging around.
