Will the Saints trade down? Will Malcolm Jenkins still be available? What will the Saints do with their first round pick today? We've been talking about today for months and now the moment is finally here. Draft time baby!!!

Predictions

…is what this thread should be about. Come on, everyone, commit yourselves.

Here’s what I think. Some of this may seem obvious, but what the hell.

1. If anyone at all offers us more draft choices in trade before we get to our pick, the Saints will jump on it.

2. If nobody offers a trade by the time #14 rolls around, we’ll draft Malcolm Jenkins.

3. If Jenkins is already gone, we’ll draft Clay Matthews.

4. In the unlikely event that both Jenkins and Matthews are gone, we’ll draft…Knowshon MoGAAAAAA!!!

I love how

McShay and Kiper, Jr. are now jizzing on themselves about Tyson Jackson and how important and rare it is to find a 5-technique DE. And it just started this week when someone reported that the Chiefs were looking at him, because before that, they had him going in the 20’s possibly. What a joke. I know no one knows what’s going to happen, but they are acting like “oh, it just makes sense” or “it’s obvious that they’ll draft him.”

Nope

That comes later. It’s scheduled for 2 o’clock EDT (I think EDT…I scheduled it, and I’m in the Eastern time zone, but you never know how these things work when you’re not the programmer. We’ll see.)

Well a majority of blogers picked Jenkins , Way to Go. I guess Payton does take good advise. Guess that’s it until tommorrow for the Saints unless they make some crazy ass trade.
