AWESOME pick-up--so glad we didn't waste a draft pick on someone like Jennings. Bonus--Donaldson is 2nd in the school record books to....Aaron Stecker.

M-E may be right
"I hadn’t heard from New Orleans at all leading up to the draft," said Donaldson. "I am just happy to have an opportunity at the next level and New Orleans looks like they offer the best opportunity for me."

The Saints philosophy on playing the best players they have regardless of how they got here, may be a big draw for undrafted players like this guy. I like this pick-up. He sounds much better than Rashad Jennings. This makes the punter pick easier to accept.

Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

True

I really don’t care how we get our Super Bowl-winning players. I just want the Lombardi.

Bah!

nail, hammer, head...

Oh you have NO idea how much that makes the players happier (and, for that matter, the fans too). When a player is doing a good job, play him. If he’s not, sit his butt down and play somebody who is. Just because he’s making 10 times what the other guys is making, if he isn’t performing give him a break (and a wakeup call).

I cannot begin to count the number of times I’ve watched some other teams and wondered why a player who SUCKED kept playing when a backup would come in for a play or two and kick butt but then sub back out to let the “important” player back in to suck it up some more. That’s got to be incredibly frustrating both for the player and the fans.

.....

hes not MY new RB.

I am so not sold on the videos I see of him. His Oline opened holes so big Bush could turn and dance in the middle of them.

True. But we still gotta give him a chance. Otherwise we better hope we’re never the ones needing one…
