Welllll
I guess this is a good thing. If we can do well durning the season, we should be in the thick of things in the playoffs.
2010 Superbowl Champs - New Orleans Saints!!!!!! You gotta believe!!!!!!!
With worst to first being so common
does this really mean that much?
GW: "Sean, I can’t do anything with this guy."
nope
in my opinion … it means nothing
Take for instance those New Orleans Saints.
One year they won alot of games and went to chicagoland with hopes of a big dance.
All the teams that played them the next year were saying " omg we got them Saints next year, our schedule is so hard". We recall how that turned out eh?
We are a better team then last year
The teams on our schedule… who actually got better this year? Other then Detroit.
Are we afraid of anyone?
Who Dat!

A lot of this
is simply that we play 6 games in the NFC South, where 8-8 was the worst record and two teams went to the playoffs.
RE-SIGN LANCE MOORE!
Some more of this
Is that we also play the NFC East AND the AFC East. Now not every team in those divisions is great, but they are all at least decent (even the Bills). Now I don’t think that means we won’t be able to win quite a few of those games, but when you look at how easy some of their schedules were last year it makes sense that they are ranked as top divisions.
TO isn’t going to magically save the Bills but they aren’t THAT far behind their division mates (save maybe NE). I figure they at least won’t be in the division cellar this year. Miami is likely to have a small back-slide like we did in 2007, but they will still be decent. The Jets will almost certainly backslide unless they pick up a great QB in the draft, well unless they just run the ball constantly and even Gibbs D would have been able to handle that OK. NE will probably run away with the division again tho unless Brady gets hurt again (or fails to be ready in time).
As for the JiAnts, they have a great D (at least on paper) but their O is even worse than it was at EOY last year, so they are very hard to predict right now. The Iggles are as good as McCrabb plays, when he throws 5 INTs they lose, when he throws 5 TDs they win, in between it’s a toss-up. I’m sure Brees can handle their D but there will no doubt be a few moments where we’re all covering our eyes to try to forget a play he’d like back. The Cowgirls, sans TO, will likely have to be a power rushing team if their RBs can stay healthy, but they do have at least a decent D so that should be a good game to watch. And they do still have a decent QB, TE, and one or two OK WRs too, so it might end up being a real shoot-out. And last, but not necessarily least, the bledskins last year were much like our saints, good one week and horrible the next, although their cause was an inconsistent offense where ours was a the defense. They too have a great D on paper, but their O is questionable at best. They didn’t throw their hat in the Jay Cutler ring because they actually LIKED crybaby Jay.
Every last one of those games is winnable, but I doubt any of them will be a cakewalk unless our D is in the top 10 and our O is still #1 overall. Which might just happen, but I’m not going to hold my breath just yet…
