Excellent article
In his short stint in the NFL, Arrington caught the attention of perhaps the man that matters to most when it comes time to determine who plays for the Saints: Head Coach Sean Payton.

“Be mindful of this player,” Payton said. “I like this guy a lot. He’s smart, and he’s big.”

I really like this guy. It’s exciting to think of having him and Colston healthy and on the field at the same time. Mix in Meachem, Henderson, Moore and the other WR’s with Brees throwing the ball and it’s downright unfair to opposing defenses. They just need to figure out a way to keep all these guys healthy.

Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

The last sentence of ur post being the most important point of all!

If they all drop again like last year then the heads of the conditioning team need to role!!

Exactly!

I hate how no one, including writers at the Times-Pic, Payton, or Loomis, will talk about the Saints Strength and Conditioning program in regards to the many injuries of last season. The Times-Pic people won’t answer my mailbag questions regarding it and Jeff Duncan basically dismissed Stujo’s question regarding it last year in a Times-Pic mailbag posting. It’s a legitimate question that deserves to be answered if they want us to get excited about next season and buy tickets and newspapers! Maybe last season just went into the crapper because of bad luck, but I don’t think so.

Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Oh Satch! Ha ha! You have such an active imagination, silly boy! It’s nothing but a string of unrelated incidents, a streak of bad luck, if you will. Nothing to worry about! That’s what Jeff Duncan told me.

GW: "Sean, I can’t do anything with this guy."

I'm usually fond of Jeff's writing...

but on this, I just don’t buy it. I think your question at the time surprised him and he just didn’t have an answer, so he dismissed it. I hope Jeff is prepared for me to throw it right back into his face each and every day if the injury bug derails the season again this year.

Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

our later rounds picks seem to have more of an immediate impact than our first/second round picks… maybe we should trade our 1 first round for a few 5/6/7 round picks haha…

our receiving corp is hot. if we have some resemblance of a running game… i don’t see our offense coming in less than top 3 again this year.

You're just joking (I assume)

…but you shouldn’t be. Get rid of the one, pick up a two, a three, a couple of fours and a five. Or something like that. And have a REAL draft.

RE-SIGN LANCE MOORE!

why get rid of moore who was our leading wr in yards?

i know we have alot of good wrs but i think he’s worked hard and earned the #2 spot. let henderson/meachem/arrington battle for the next 3 spots. i don’t think henderson has the hands to be great but he’s fast as hell and meachem could beat him out b/c he seems to have good hands and is fast and it seems that arrington has great hands and is tall and strong. depends on what you want for the #3 spot i guess. i still wouldn’t let moore go

Superbowl bound!!!...I hope? Go Saints! :D

moore earned his spot

but henderson also shined last year as well… he didn’t have many drops. i don’t know the exact number, but he did well. he’s a definite threat and i’d like to see him run streaks every play! meachem is someone i’m willing to be patient for…just like reggie. i can’t say they are gonna break out this year, but i suspect some major offensive contributions from those two this year.

wouldn’t it be great if we had 3+ saints battling for offensive player of the year? there’s no reason why that can’t happen…
