Just A Random Vilma Thought
No news is good news regarding the Vilma situation. I haven't heard squat since the "messy little double murder" happened. At the time I went on record saying that I had a bad feeling about it. So far, so good it seems...

True...significant difference
I definitely feel more positive about it now than I initially did. But there are still some questions, like how the hell does Vilma not know anyone was using his place? If his cousin is involved, how much did Vilma know about his cousin’s criminal tendencies?
I Dunnoooo…
I am the Stig
That's not the point
I’m not trying to suggest that Vilma really had anything to do with it. But I’ve seen this sort of thing before, where a prosecutor will concoct the most insane scenario imaginable in order to advance his career…and actually succeed in selling it. Vilma owned the house, he let his family use it, and they used it at least once for criminal activity. It’s a small step between that and bringing a conspiracy charge before a grand jury.
I’m not saying it’s going to happen. Nassau County might have a conscientious DA. If so, they should thank God morning, noon, and night, because those guys are rare.
RE-SIGN LANCE MOORE!

That only happens at Duke.

No...
…it only fails at Duke. You mess around with the children of privilege, and you get your ass handed to you. (It doesn’t help, of course, if they’re actually innocent.)
RE-SIGN LANCE MOORE!
No real jury would put up with that crap
A DA can’t pull that off by himself, it requires a conspiracy with the judge. That only happens in SOUTH Carolina. OJ’s first trial is a perfect example of the DA trying to make a case and being called on it by the judge and the jury.
