Around SBN: Tiger Woods, Tony Romo Grouped Together At Pebble Beach

There has been a trade... New Orleans is now on the clock.

These words put die-hard Who Dats and casual Saints fans alike on the edge of their seats. The Saints' brass had rarely made major draft day moves in previous seasons, but now they were putting all of their chips forward.

Jeff Duncan is SUCH a plagiarist

I also need to ask this

Does anyone else have a problem with Pat Y’s assertion in regard to this story (from his NFC South blog)?

It’s hindsight, but Augustin makes a very good point when he says the Saints could have had a team that featured Shaun Alexander, Donald Driver, Jevon Kearse, Joey Porter and Brian Urlacher if they hadn’t made the Williams deal.

WTF?? Why cherry pick pro bowlers from those two drafts and then say the Saints are stupid because they could have drafted them? Many other teams could have drafted all these players, too, but they didn’t. Each of these guys went to different teams. YEESH!

The Detroit Lions are on the clock!

I mean, this is also a very good point: If we had just been smart enough to draft all those HOF guys the Steelers did in the 70's

and then follow that up by drafting all the HOF players Walsh took in the 80’s and then we grabbed all the HOF guys Jerry Jones took for Dallas in the 90’s, we’d have won 15 Super Bowls by now. What’s wrong with us as a team that we didn’t just do that?

ridiculous

I think M-E referred to this phenomenon not long ago. It’s nonproductive, stinkin’ thinkin’. And assumes a best case scenario that is highly improbable.

If I spent all the time needed to discredit Pat Yssijldklkg, I’d have no time to dog M-E.
