"I can't wait to show the world what I'm capable of," Meacham said. "Some people write you off. There was something deep down. I never doubted myself."

we doubted you...

There was something deep all right, but what about short, and inside and curls and all the other plays?

And adjusting routes for blitzes or disguised coverages?

I don’t know for certain—I didn’t get to watch even half of the games, and there’s very little isolated coverage of what goes on in the secondary, and I wouldn’t know what to look for if there was—but I suspect the problem is with Meachem’s ability to adjust. That’s all mental.

Time to re-sign Deuce!

I want to believe you Robert, I really do...

But forgive me when I say “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

Who IS the Stig?

give him a break

we have too much talent at wideout and with a qb like brees he only makes wideouts better so theres really no playing time for him. yes he was a first round pick but i guarentee if we let him go to another team and he gets playing time he becomes a starter for years to come.

I hope we don't let him go

I think it’s rare to see someone be a playmaker like him on so few chances. He really has looked good on some of the completions, pre season and regular season. I assume he must have a glitch in his repertoire- but I think he has incredible upside. I remember when Devery Henderson looked like his hands were covered in olive oil every time he tried to catch a ball. And I was on his side because if he could just hold onto the ball, he would be a real playmaker. Payton was patient and it paid off. I hope Payton is patient and it pays off again.
