Upcoming OTA/MiniCamp Dates
We all know that Training Camp opens on July 29th and 30th, but no that rookie camp has closed, what and when will the Saints be doing until then (besides drawing up exotic blitz packages that include Reggie Bush rushing off the end)?
According to an article on nfl.com:
Teams are permitted to conduct up to 14 Organized Team Activity (OTA) sessions as part of their offseason workout programs. In addition, clubs may conduct one mandatory veteran minicamp. Teams that hired a new head coach may hold two additional voluntary minicamps.
Chronologically, here's how it will happen for our beloved Saints this summer:
May 18-21 - Organized Team Activity Sessions
June 5-7 - Mandatory Veteran MiniCamp
June 8-11 - Organized Team Activity Sessions
June 15-18 - Organized Team Activity Sessions
Now we know when it's going to happen, but I'm not really sure of the "what" that is exactly meant by these OTAs. Pizza and bowling? Sewing circles? Studying the NFL's substance abuse policy?
I post this to inform of the dates so we can all be aware, and to get responses from those who might know as to what might actually be happening in these OTAs...
Fire away boys and girls, I eagerly await your enlightenment!

OTAs
When they had training camp in Miss. they used to go to a waterpark as an activity. Since Fujita went through a fence off the water slide I doubt they’ll do that again. Bowling might be a possibility…
Thanks for droppin’ the knowledge.
