Without being too Negative

I wish the levees could be 50ft. across the top,by 2013, never-the-less New Orleans deserves to be a SB city….

With luck,

That could be a Superbowl of firsts: The first team that wins three Superbowls in a row, and the first team to win a Superbowl in their home stadium…

a shoutout

to Paul Taglibue. Without him, Benson moves the team to San Antonio, the Dome is torn down, and this day never happens.

All that aside, a great win for the city nonetheless, I just hate seeing Benson parading aroud like a hero when we all know where the Saints would be if he had his ’druthers

I swear to god

If the Saints are one of the two teams on the field in SB 2013 I’m selling my Mac Book Pro, a kidney, some stuff inside my mama’s purse, a DVD of the best moment of ‘78 Saints’ season (Go Archie!), my virginity and the escorts list of my boss just to get the airfare ticket. Since I’ll probably be on welfare at that point I have no doubt one of you guys will charitably offer me a game ticket, right?…. (Sound of silence).

Oopps.

Just get the D going!

Congratulations on the great news!

As a native Louisianian, I am completely thrilled about this.

+1 to the owners for voting on this!

save me a seat

who do you think could still be on the team in 2013?

by NYSaint on May 19, 2009 8:09 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

We'll probably need a new QB

Otherwise, Saints are a very young team.

Just get the D going!

I wouldn’t count on that. Drew would only be 34 by then… he might be declining but he wouldn’t likely be done yet… and Brees in decline is still better than 90% of the other quarterbacks out there…

Drew will not decline

He will just continue to get better every year until he passes for twelve parsecs and more touchdowns than there are electrons in the universe, with seven interceptions.

Come home, Stuart...

Yeah but

Aren’t you worried seeing a 6 foot tall QB still step-step-jump on a quick slant? Let’s just say it’s a miracle that Brees didn’t get badly hurt yet. Hey Jamal, you can take all the holding penalties in the world if it prevents Drew for being sacked by Pepper or Freeny cause that would be the end of it.

Just get the D going!

Whatever they're puttin' in the water up there in Asheville...

…I want some!

We need to make plans for an NC Saints party, maybe for the Saints/Panthers game in Charlotte….

…or better yet, a Super Bowl party – got the perfect place: 2500 sq ft house, 42" plasma screen…

The perfect place?

The perfect place—in 2013—would be the Superdome. I hear Saintsational is going to get some tickets to raffle off online, and let us crash at his store, too. Awful decent of him.

Where’s my drink?

Come home, Stuart...
