"If you go apples to apples, kicker to kicker with Jan Stenerud, Morten Andersen deserves to get in,'' Finney said. "Now Hank Stram campaigned vigorously for Stenerud because of their longtime association in Kansas City. But a lot of (voters) have a problem with a specialist getting in before a player who plays every down. That's been the problem with (punter) Ray Guy.
"But if you're talking just stats, Morten has more meaningful stats than say Ray Guy, with all his game-winning kicks and career points and so on. I certainly think Morten Andersen should be the next specialist that goes in.''

I think players from multiple teams can choose which team they want to go in as

I don't think they choose a team at all
Go look up Jim Taylor in the Hall of Fame. It says “1958-1966 Green Bay Packers, 1967 New Orleans Saints.” So technically, the Saints are already represented.
Come home, Stuart...

What we have to remember is that it's not like the baseball hall of fame
In which enshrinees’ busts show players wearing a baseball cap with the team logo.

Always up to
the player, but Saints have to be the sentimental choice, he kicked a lot of FG’s for Falcons too…If he does go as a Saint, he has to wear a F & M Patio Bar t-shirt under his H of Fame jacket…LOL
