"The appeal is basically something that we felt we had to do, " McAllister said. "For me, personally, it's important for a lot of reasons. One, I've never used steroids. Two, I want my name cleaned up, and three, what they're doing isn't right.
"Even though the judge ruled the way he did, it doesn't change my feelings about this whole deal."

Deuce gives his opinion of the recent Starcapsgate ruling and his reason for filing the appeal. They probably don't have much of a chance of getting this overturned, but I'm glad they're fighting it to the end. The three reasons Deuce states above are worth fighting over.

Deuce said something in one of these articles about the case
That alluded to it being revealed in the course of testimony during the trial/recent appeal that there is a group of 8 players who tested positive for butamenadine (or whatever that masking substance is) and that the NFL did NOT suspend them.
I commented (you have to scroll down to see my comment) about this over the weekend (calling them the “Unsuspended Eight”), and thought that someone would at least look into it by now and debunk it, but they haven’t, and I am wondering why no one is investigating this aspect.
