rams release Pisa Tinoisamoa...will saints sign him?

with the releasing of Pisa Tinoisamoa and if the saints should sign him i believe our defense would be stacked. we would have so much depth at every position and we could really dominate. just imagine Tinoisamoa and fujita on the outside and vilma in the middle,it spells trouble to the rest of the leauge. he is still farely young and only lost out in st.louis because of laurenitis. this would be a major addition and a huge upgrade over shanle and injurey prone dan morgan.

Rams released LB Pisa Tinoisamoa.
This is a case of a good player not fitting his new coach’s scheme, but it’s still surprising that the Rams would release last year’s team leader in tackles. Though the Rams tried Pisa at SAM linebacker last month at minicamp, he didn’t have the size to stay there.(6’1/235)

Love one another.

all right, my bad then

let’s get him? It’s one of our weaknesses and he’s still young, what’s to lose?

Rams placed LB Pisa Tinoisamoa on injured reserve, ending his season.
Tinoisamoa tore his MCL in Week 12, and while his knee won’t require surgery, the 2-9 Rams had little reason to press him to return this season. Chris Draft will take his spot on the weak side. Tinoisamoa was once the heart of St. Louis’ defense, but his endless injuries have made him unreliable. The Rams’ decision to sign him to a lucrative extension last year isn’t looking like a good move, but he’ll certainly be back to start in 2008.

If he didn't have the size in St. Louis, how will he have the size here?

Maybe the Rams know something we don’t.

Okay, stop laughing.

Will the Rams run a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme?

Maybe they think he is undersized for a 3-4 scheme. I haven’t read what Spagnoli is planning to do there. So far, I’d be willing to give this guy a chance in our D. Someone school me if I’m wrong.

Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Let's schedule a flight

We should absolutely bring him in. Have the docs look him over, talk some ball to see his commitment, see what his physical skills are, See how much it would cost. If they don’t like what they see and pass on him, I’ll trust their assesment. But they have to at least kick the tires. We picked up a few OLB prospects with the draft/rookie free agent signings, so they know it’s an area where we can upgrade. I haven’t studied the guy, but I liked what I saw of his play.

?

Don’t know much about him but if he’s an upgrade over what we have then lets get him!

I would have said, why? We have Morgan to compete for weakside, and Arnoux and Casillas coming online. But all three of them now have an injury history, and Arnoux is gone for the year. I can’t see how it would harm to take a look at him.

OLB needs

So he would be an alternate with Morgan at WILL? or do you see the Saints commiting to this guy over Morgan? He would give us the depth needed if one of our three starters go out.

I’d like to see them take a good look at this guy. If he’s healthy and can play, give him a 1 year contract to see what he’s got (same as a lot of other free agents we signed this offseason). We need a replacement from somewhere, and at least this guy can tackle.

Buffalo

Were gonna screw around and let buffalo sign him without even taking a look

Any news on the Saints being interested in this guy?

We need to schedule a meeting with him ASAP! I’m sure he’ll sign with us before signing in Buffalo..
