In my experience on this site, i have found myself shaking my head a few times thinking “in this day and age, how can people get offended so easily?”.

I am a Canucklehead…our TV and media is as prim and proper as you can get…you cant say moose doody without getting fined…but not so when tuning into the media from our neighbors to the south…you get an ass shot and a swear in a Taco Bell commercial…so how can some off color words offend? Lighten up a bit everyone…i’d hate to see people stop coming here and posting or adding insight because they may have offended someone…other than the hotly debated “cat-raping” article…i have yet to see anything that was offensive in any way shape or form…

Maybe i am thickskinned from the harsh winters…

Come on back Stu…you have my vote…

I don’t know Babs (or Stu), but I do know this. Anyone that cracks wise and/or makes obscure references on a football blog is A-OK in my thesaurus. Come back to Jamaica, Stu. You’re admired, you’re missed and gosh darnit, people like you.

P.S. hope my “gosh darnit” didn’t ruffle any feathers.

what do I know?

It’s not easy to be in a virtual club. The lack of face time makes a lot of people bold, rude and downright pissy (I can say that, right?). It takes a lot of self control to have self control. Maybe too much.

I hope this is a place I can escape the Yahoo!/Fox Sports/SI comment nastiness. Everyone’s here to have a good time and keep it light, right? No flash-point topics. No finger in the eye. When a party-pooper walks in all flatulent and rowdy, the party ends and people just fade away. Some try to stand up for what the group has established as ground rules. After a while, they get discouraged and move on.

I can’t cast a stone at stujo4. I have left many a chat with no intent of returning. I’m old enough to have been old enough when this world-wide webnet thing came around to not get too wrapped up in it. It’s not easy when there are so many anonymous posters out there who take great joying in picking a virtual fight.

There’s nothing to forgive, stujo4. Come on back, the first beer’s on me. If you don’t drink, the first ice tea’s on me. If you’re Mormon, make it a lemonade. We can coexist here. It just takes a little patience, tolerance and the ability to imagine we’re all in the same room.

I has asked Stu to not use bad language when PRIVATELY warning other members of the blog. Stu was always considerate and law abiding with all of his comments here on CSC.

I spent about a week back tracking all the comments leading up to stu leaving and found everthing but the warning from Dave. Stu was provoked and he took the bait. I’ll bet he didn’t say anything PRIVATELY that wasn’t said to him on CSC. Stu needs to come back but it might take Stu and Dave coming together and finishing the discusion after the heat of battle has died. Stu is a great member and needs to come back to have our old CSC family back together. Stu, email Dave and talk this over. Get it aired out, and there might need to be a discussion with stu and another party, also.

He was one of the few Reggie believers with me…he’ll be back I hope…

IIt’s been over a month that I manage to insert "insides" in some of my posts as how much I miss not having you around anymore. You surely noticed the same from the early bunch (TAY, Asaints, Mtn_Exile…). Therefore, it’s no surprise I’d want to add my two cents on that fanpost .

Skinnykinney suggested earlier that we should email you if we had your e-mail address but you know I have better info than that… Because of the gift you so nicely sent me a while back you know I got your home address.

Since May 17th I did a lot of soul searching evaluating the relevance of sending a letter right to your door step and try to convince you to comeback or, at least, insert a doubt in your mind regarding the decision you made leaving this blog so I could get my old CSC life back as it perfectly was. Let’s just say I had a pretty rough year and your writing would often take my mind of my torments so I’ll always be greatful for that. But you leaving in such a fashion feels like trying to drop hard drugs cold turkey way and I ain’t that good with that! Heck, I’m chain smoking more than ever!

Since the whole essence of the internet is anonymity, I decided it would be wrong for me tu use privileged information about yourself even if it would be out of true affection for you and you know they’re ain’t nothing wrong with that…

I have a pretty good idea about what happened but it’s still none of my business but I’m pretty sure you probably feel equally as pissed as sad from all that nonsense. We all know you’re a man of honor and stand by your ground. I probably could add a bit of stubbornness to that list…But just remember this: Only fools don’t change their mind…

God I miss you man….
