Deal that would keep Saints in New Orleans through 2025 nearly done
As long as Benson doesn't get greedy with the lease terms, it's a done deal...the Saints stay.

I wonder if Bobby Jindal
could stealthy slip “I agree to permanently and prominently display a banner honoring the late Sam Mills on the interior wall of the Superdome” into the contract verbage.

I'd be willing to bet...
that Jindal wouldn’t even know who Sam Mills was if you asked him. Good idea, though. If we can’t get a Mills banner into the Superdome as part of this deal, then we should get a banner for each of these government offices that Benson just acquired and now will rent out to the state. I’m starting to believe it will take nothing less than 24-hour picketers with “add Sam Mills to the Wall of Fame!” signs outside of the Saints facilities and Benson’s office to get this done.
Go Saints!!!! Deuce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
