Payton polishes the Houser story
Jeff Duncan tweet: "Payton: Houser cut was strictly football-related. Nothing to do with tax credits. Kyle has better velocity on snaps."
Oh that seems highly unlikely.

Loomis is in collusion
I have a history with Jason Kyle. In Seattle we drafted him. I’m very familiar with him, had an expectation that he was going to be back in Carolina. That position’s one where guys that do a great job are going to stay with the same franchise for a long period of time. It got to the point where he was not going to be back with Carolina, so let’s bring him in, let’s talk to him, let’s work him out, let’s see what the differences are and when he came we did that and made the change.

In all fairness
Houser’s long snaps always did have a ridiculous hangtime. I thought he was shooting from the top of the key out there. Sarcasm font.

I was really down on Payton when he got rid of Houser
but then I thought about it and if the situation boils down to 2 or 3 or even more guys in the locker room totally pissed and icing Houser and avoiding him on trips etc, then getiing rid of him seems to be the only way to go.
He didn’t just hose Payton. But, I don’t buy the hangtime theory.
