1st Day Draft Pick Success

Though I love Drew Brees as a qb, it is hard to argue that our later round draft picks haven't had more success in our skilled offensive positions, hopefully this year will change. I am hoping Meacham and Shockey will be a force this year. Which of the 2 teams below would you take?
1st and 2nd Round Draft Picks (Team 1)
QB - Drew Brees (2nd)
RB - Reggie Bush (1st)
WR - Devery Henderson (2nd)
WR - Robert Meacham (1st)
TE - Jeremy Shockey (1st)
After the 4th Round (Team 2)
QB - Mark Brunell (5th)
RB - Pierre Thomas (undrafted)
WR - Marques Colston (7th)
WR - Lance Moore (undrafted)
TE - Billy Miller (7th)

Is this a serious question? Would anybody with any sense whatsoever pick Brunell when Brees was available? If Brees gets hurt that’s one thing, but when he’s available you’d actually even THINK for three microsecond about using somebody else?

if there were no QBs on the list
then i’d take team 2 even though i like reggie over PT b/c of colston moore and miller have done a great job.
