I heard there are sites that you can go on and watch them live but no one I know seems to know what sites they are. Im a die hard saints fan and it seems like I havent seen them play in decades. Thank god the seasons rite around the corner. Well if any one knows how I may be able too watch the three other games please let me know. Thanks

Unless you're willing and able
to shell out the $250 or $300 or whatever for the Sunday Ticket(and switch to satellite, if you’re cable, like me), if you live out of the region, I think you just have to find a good sports bar in your area. I heard earlier that channelsurfing.net will work, but I haven’t gotten to try it out yet.

I live in Austin, and this is my home in the fall.

channelsurfing.net is hit or miss on the blackouts, from what I’ve heard.

Don't know for pre-season...
but be sure to check our pre-game and game threads. People are helping each other out to find a web feed. I got to see every game last year.
Just get the D going!

RealSaint - NFL network has been running a promo that says it plays ALL the preseason games for every team
Not all of them are shown live, but I do remember from last year that I did get to see all the preseason games. Some of them I had to TIVO at 4:00 am, but they did show them all.
Check your local listings, and I’ll also make it a point to check my listings and then post if/when I see that the individual Saints preseason games are rebroadcast…

Here are re-broadcast times I found on NFL network site for Saints preseason games
August 15 – 7:00 am – Saints-Bengals
August 24 – 1:00 am – Saints-Texans
September 4 – 1:00 pm – Saints-Dolphins
If I remember correctly for one half, they feature the local TV broadcast crew for one team, then for the second half they switch to the other.
If you have a radio that gets AM, at night, you can sometimes get WWL radio signal. I heard Deke and Bobby one night in the fall driving home from an after-work faculty meeting one Monday in November. (I live in Louisville, KY)
Also, I bet you could do an internet feed of the audio play-by-play live, and pretend like it’s back in the 70’s when the home games weren’t broadcast on TV b/c we never sold out the Dome. Ha!

The NFL
blocks radio transmission of games online. May be different for the preseason. They will generously sell you an internet radio feed though. What sweethearts. I swear, if they could secure the rights to October sunlight, they would be selling that at a premium. Why can’t I love hockey?!

They play them after during the week but look on opposing team sites! I listen to WWL 8.70!

NFL Network
Yeah during the season I will have the package. I have to see the game live because with my group of friends theres no way for me not to hear the score or at least who won and that kind of ruins the game for me. I just dont want to miss a preason game because this has been such a long off season and im ready for them to be back on the field. i dont think the people who live around me are though lol. Yeah i get loud.

You can watch the at your house for cheaper!!
If you got The Sunday Ticket just for the Saints games, you’re paying too much! LOL It sounds like I’m trying to sell something! But for real, you can just tell the satelite company that you want the local Fox and CBS channels in New Orleans. They cost like 3 bucks each and you can see the Saints games for 6 bucks!!

Vic - are you on DirecTV or DishNetwork?
I wasn’t aware that was an option to get local channels in an area that’s not your locality. Of course, they would probably rather have you buy the more expensive Sunday Ticket (with HD and Super Fan upgrades, too), so they wouldn’t put that info out there too aggressively, I guess.

Direct TV but.......
I get the NFL Ticket anyway because I just love football. During the season I have 3 TV’s in the living room with different games on them. I have the Saints game on the big screen with surround sound of course. Heck, I will watch the Bengals play the Lions if that’s whats on. Also for fantasy football it’s nice to be able to watch all of your players. But my buddy is a 49ers fan, (sorry little boat jumper jumped on their boat in the late 80’s and knows I’ll slap him if he switches just because they suck), and that’s what he does. I honestly don’t know which service he uses so I’ll have to get back to you on that.

But you are right.
They wouldn’t just come out and tell you that you can do that but really that’s all the Sunday Ticket is. It’s just the local channel in that area.

I love football, too
And I love being able to choose which games I watch when the Saints game is at the half, or when the Saints aren’t on (b/c they’re MNF, SNF, or ThNF, or it’s early and they play late, or vice versa). I can flip to close games, or flip to teams I care about, or flip to the RED ZONE CHANNEL. Sunday Ticket is MY TICKET.
