Detroit Lions @ New Oreans Saints: Game Predictions

That Drew Brees will single-handedly crash fantasy football live scoring sites because the programmers didn’t allow for that many points.

>A significant injury will be incurred by a high profile player, spoiling the day for one side.

>Bell and Bush split touches; Bush shines, Bell is a disappointment.

>Payton goes 50% on officiating challenges, causing renewed short term grumbling amongst fans and followers, until they look at the score again.

Lions – 8 (two field goals and a safety caused when, just for kicks in the fourth quarter, they let Shockey play QB for the last series.

Reggie Bush takes his first handoff of the regular season to the house (72 yard TD run) — And the Dome fans rejoice by beating the hell out of the Aluminum siding in cheap seats.

Matthew Stafford throws a pick six to Jabari Greer on the ensuing series.

Charles Grant and Will Smith have career days . . . then get suspended when they are most needed.

Bonus – The Saints actually convert some 3 and 1s by running the ball.

The closer this game gets, the more antsy I feel. The level of hubris displayed in most of these answers (my own included) doesn’t help things. These are not last year’s Lions! If the Saints bring their A game, we will win. If they bring only their B game…it’ll be a toss-up. If they bring their C game, the Lions are going to go back to Detroit 1-0.

saints by 10 is the most i will go… some of the predictions here are.. well lets just say i hope they are all proved correct in the comprehensiveness of the victory
