2009 NFL Kickoff Fun Roster Facts and Trivia
Think the Saints have the oldest team in the league this year?
Close, but wrong. That title goes to the Redkins. The Saints do, however, have the fewest rookie and first year players in the league making up their roster.
Do you believe Louisiana is a football player making factory?
Now you're getting warmer. LSU is tied with Miami as the college with the most players players currently in the league.
The geeks, nerds and number crunchers who work for the NFL and keep track of all these crazy roster stats have just released their 2009 kickoff figures. From the shortest team in the league to the tallest. From the youngest to the oldest. I have included it all below. Pretty interesting stuff really. i wonder
if the Indy team was the same way(lowest height and weight) in 2006 when they won the championship. I think we need to be a bit like that with GW’s attack system. I’d like them to be taller but weight a bit less so they can move faster. Anyways, pretty interesting facts. Something we don’t normally look at.
Superbowl bound!!!...I hope? Go Saints! :D
Ohio State . . .
. . . has the most WRs and DBs in the NFL. So much for SEC speed/Big 10 slow.
