MY HALFTIME OBSERVATION.
brilliant observation: Saints need this game much more than the Eagles. I think the Saints need marquee wins like this. But the Eagles can hang low after a loss and come back. That’s something the Saints are not good at. Remember last year when they started losing and they were mathematically alive until the 2nd to last game….but they kept losing? Ridiculously terrible. I can’t endure that again. And I’m just a fan…think of the players mentality.
In the 2nd half the offense and defense needs to execute better. Defense needs to tackle and execute their schemes (no Porter randomness.)
Offense just needs to block better on the line.

we aren’t doing that bad. the eagles aren’t terrible. we played prevent D(brought Gibbs back for that one maybe) and didn’t give up a big TD. We have the lead going into the half and I think we came close to a few big plays on defense. We’re in this game while the rest of the world has been saying we can’t win this game. a TD(long one, busted coverage) and 2 FGs. better than last year where it would have been 3 TDs. Let’s calm down some, we got a good shot at the win.

i'm trying to figure out how it's control of the ball when the ground allows the guy to control the ball because the ball hits the ground.
just because the receiver has hands on the ball doesn’t mean he gets to bounce it off the ground. I don’t think he had control.

Micky hates the Saints so he will have the refs engineer a last second defeat. Without timeouts, the Saints will be defenseless to stop it.

Atlanta seems to be our only stiff competition this year. They’re playing great ball. They face the Pats next week and you know after that Jets loss they’re looking to kick some ass…
There’s areas we still need to improve on. Our spec. teams still need a little work. We still need to ease Jenkins in if he’s gonna be worthy of a #1 pick. We still NEED TO GET MORE SACKS.
It’s only Week 3, but we’re looking great. We’re still not there yet, but we will be. Those 3 things I pointed outthat need fixin’, we’ll be fine.
