New Orleans Saints @ Buffalo Bills: Pre-Game Audio/Visual Club

I have hooked you guys up with a few video clips and some audio to check out this morning before kickoff later this afternoon. If you missed any of Da Chronic's pre-game coverage this week like what to watch, my interview with Brian of Buffalo Rumblings, our scouting report filled with opponent quotes or our initial game preview, be sure to check them out. Most importantly, don't forget to make your three predictions before game time in this weeks prediction contest.

Use this thread for all pre-game/early game discussion and excitement. The official open game thread will post at 2pm Central. You are expected to attend.

Here are a bunch of audio clips from the past two days, courtesy of WWL's Sports Talk. Scott Shanle is in there somewhere.

Nice 3/4 page color photo of Brees in the tunnel somewhere, getting ready to go.

Drew Brees has been passed over, discounted and written off since his high school days. Too small? Too serious of an injury to overcome? Few are questioning the Saints QB now.
Passing yards, TD’s, have increased each season with Saints. Brees handles blitz well, forcing teams to sit back.

A golden opportunity awaits the Bills. They need a signature win against the Saints. A victory that validates them as a rising team. In Head Coach Jauron’s 3 seasons here, the Bills have played 23 games against teams that would finish the season over .500. The Bills are 2-21 in those games.
The Saints are being cast as this year’s Arizona, a team that rises from the muddle of average NFL teams and makes a Super Bowl run… when the Bills played Arizona last year, the Cardinals won 41-17.

2 biggest keys for the Bills in the game today:
1) Play great defense in the red zone.
2) Avoid turnovers.

Allen Wilson’s 5 star scouting report

Bills Need Big Plays, Ball Control to Counter Saints’ Flying Circus

1 Cool Brees. Bills need to get their hands up while they push the pocket [because he’s short, get it?]

2 Lost and found. Owens and Evans need to show up and catch the ball, since the Saints have given up a 60 yd pass play in both games this year.

3 Shorten the game. Keep the Saints’ offense off the field. [Because that worked so well against Payton Manning]

4 The bell tolls for Thomas. Mike Bell is out. PT is rusty. Bush and PhotoOp might give the Saints some offensive balance. But the Bills’ run D has been stout.

5. Return threats. Leodis McKelvin and Roscoe Parrish are overdue for big games.

All the stuff you need for today.

Mort explains it all (to me)

The Chase Daniels activation mystery. It seems Lance Moore is QB3, but he’s inactive today, so Chase gets to make the trip. I did not realize this. Maybe I need to read more.

all 3 Mannings shilling for Lifelock.com on ESPN

I think Archie looked least comfortable doing it. This is the one where the CEO tells you his SSN because he’s sure you can’t do anything with it because he’s got Lifelock protection. uh oh

yeah

See my View From fanpost. Not liking the SB Nation resizing of my photos, but it’s probably a space concern I’m guessing.

Great Pics Stujo

Really gets you in the mood (as if we need anything xtra). Just knowing it’s GAME DAY is enough. It’s a tough weekend when you have to pull for Brady and Romo. Somehow ESPN comes to mind when I think of those two qb’s. Getting ready to go to a tail-gate party, here in Raleigh, so everyone have a great game. Thank heaven for direct-tv.
