come on !
lets go for 3 and 0 !!!
Football is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.
DANNY BLANCHFLOWER
Ready for some football!!!
Glad to see the thread up and running, love the 4:15 start, watching all of the 1pm games makes me ready to cheer loud and proud. Who Dat!!!
Heading to FOX Sports Grill in Plano...
And Saints fans in Dallas have a favorite spot to watch the game?
Hi guys
Quick question. Anyone have a good site to check out if a player who is questionable is likely to play? Injury updates kind of thing. I have to decide whether to start Knowshown Moreno or Michael Bush, and it’s going to depend on whether or not Moreno will play.

Thanks. Looks like he's going to be active.
Any recommendations on who I should go with? Moreno @ Oakland or Michael Bush @ Denver. Not a PPR league.
by TheBobLoblawBlog on Sep 27, 2009 2:28 PM CDT up reply actions
(Yeah, my RB situation is dire. I got LT who is injured, Marshawn Lynch who doesn’t come back til next week, Beanie Wells who so far has not delivered, Moreno and Bush. My only bright spot has been Willis McGahee who I drafted specifically to cover the 3 weeks when Lynch was out)
by TheBobLoblawBlog on Sep 27, 2009 2:31 PM CDT up reply actions
You might have been able to let Lynch go undrafted
and try to pick him up after his suspension

It's a nice neighborhood
It apparently used to be a lot worse 10-20 years ago. Now its relatively cheap (for Manhattan), close to the park, has some good restaurants and local bars. A lot of Columbia students and young professionals live in the neighborhood, but there is still a pretty good amount of diversity.

Nervous as Hell
I know not to expect a 16-0 season, but I don’t want my boys to lose. I want them to keep on winning to make a point. I’m also pissed at Directv for not including the HD channels in the Sunday NFL ticket. Those are some nickel and dimeing bastards.
I pay extra for the superfan
or whatever it is that gets the channels in HD.
by SaintsFan-KS on Sep 27, 2009 2:44 PM CDT up reply actions
I know about super fan
I just think it is a rip-off after paying close to $300 and then another $100 on top to get the HD package. I’m just complaining. Oh well, saw my Saints are on the local Fox, so I get to watch it in HD anyway.
Washington just looks really REALLY bad.

I love
the misdirection nake bootleg TE out, even when it doesn’t work.
Strief and Bushrod are garbage.

Come on offense
Where’s at least twenty points?
Scary thought: Jets have a sicker D, we better get better O-Line blocking next week or we may be screwed

Maybe the wind was going to be with him if he got the kick off before the end of the quarter

Good try on the draw, he almost broke through.

A "W" is a "W". I'd be fine winning 10-3

Hold on to your shorts fellow Saints Fans
Hopefully we can win a close game on the road, we couldn’t do it last year

It would be pretty nice
to win a game solely because of our defense.

Nice play, Defense showed up today

It was a low line drive punt. They've got really good punt coverage.

WOW Positive yardage on a punt return by Bush!!!

I'm kinda excited
about the fact that we are still in the game despite only scoring 10 pts thus far.
Our Defense finally steps up and creates turnovers/punts and...
The Offense stinks it up…
Refs didn't let Brees call the time out . . .
Refs are pretty awful this game.

Bright Spot of the Day
Our D
You gotta hand it to em
7points into the 4th that’s a first for us
And their D is outdoing our D for a change.
Cheer up Saints fans, at least our offense is getting shaken up but we’re still in the lead

It could be a lot worse fellas We had JD and Thomas the last two years

Can you just argue to stop the clock? I thought there were 40 seconds between snaps, but that seems to be a soft rule.

Dumb ass commentators
One play they’re talking about how good the Buffalo D line is, the next they’re talking about the Saints running all over them

yeah now they are saying how tired the Buffalo d-line is

Congrats on the win and the division lead, guys
Quick question: How dumb would Sean Payton have to be to not start Pierre Thomas next week?
And yes, I’m still a flagrant PT fan.

Hey, I got my man love for Bell.
PT wasn’t even getting touched until he was 20 yards past the line of scrimmage. I’m not sure if that’s him or the O-line? He did look amazing at the end of that game, though. And it’s been so, so, sooooooo long since we’ve been able to run the ball down someone’s throat. I mean, it’s been since Dalton Hilliard times. Even Deuce was a little iffy in closing out games.
I love that
we’re a complete team. How awesome is that?
This is what we needed—a close game that we had to fight to win.
BRING ON DA JETS!!!!
Hats off to the Bills
I thought that for 3 quarters they played damn hard. Defense on both sides was good until the 4th. WHO DAT!! 3-0
no hats off
this game was won by the d and the running game. the bills o got nothing. great job who dats!!!

Gregg Williams deserves the gameball. After that fake Bush-league TD that Buffalo scored, I yelled in the sports bar, “Is that all you got?!” No faith in their offense or defense against these Saints. Defense was huge, made the stops when the passing game fizzled.
Oh, and did y’all forget about PT? Cause….damn. PT just ran through your face. Twice. 3-0, baby.
Heart, Max Talbot has it by the mile. The Pens are your 2008-2009 Stanley Cup Champions.
Firing on all cylinders, baby!
This team is starting to remind me of the ‘06 Saints. Doin’ what it takes to win. 3-0!!
yeah, Brees sucked today for my ff team
i’m only 25 points ahead and my opponent has Manning and Wayne. But we still got the W, nice to see the D come through, def an improvement from last year, not bring on the Jets!
Don't worry I got your back cuz...
