come on !

lets go for 3 and 0 !!!

Football is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.

Heading to FOX Sports Grill in Plano...

And Saints fans in Dallas have a favorite spot to watch the game?

by Dan Kelly on Sep 27, 2009 2:24 PM CDT reply actions

Hi guys

Quick question. Anyone have a good site to check out if a player who is questionable is likely to play? Injury updates kind of thing. I have to decide whether to start Knowshown Moreno or Michael Bush, and it’s going to depend on whether or not Moreno will play.

by TheBobLoblawBlog on Sep 27, 2009 2:24 PM CDT reply actions

Try

NFL.Com they should have the latest updates

by N_O_1saintfan on Sep 27, 2009 2:25 PM CDT up reply actions

Or

try the teams homepage

by N_O_1saintfan on Sep 27, 2009 2:26 PM CDT up reply actions

Thanks. Looks like he's going to be active.

Any recommendations on who I should go with? Moreno @ Oakland or Michael Bush @ Denver. Not a PPR league.

by TheBobLoblawBlog on Sep 27, 2009 2:28 PM CDT up reply actions

(Yeah, my RB situation is dire. I got LT who is injured, Marshawn Lynch who doesn’t come back til next week, Beanie Wells who so far has not delivered, Moreno and Bush. My only bright spot has been Willis McGahee who I drafted specifically to cover the 3 weeks when Lynch was out)

by TheBobLoblawBlog on Sep 27, 2009 2:31 PM CDT up reply actions

You might have been able to let Lynch go undrafted

and try to pick him up after his suspension

Not in this league

I knew two people who were specifically targeting him in the later rounds.

by TheBobLoblawBlog on Sep 27, 2009 2:33 PM CDT up reply actions

Actually, I should amend that

Moreno @ Oakland
Michael Bush vs. Denver
Beanie Wells Vs. Indy

Also, http://msn.foxsports.com/fantasy/football is pretty good.

Finally, http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball is a good place to go for specific player news.

It's a nice neighborhood

It apparently used to be a lot worse 10-20 years ago. Now its relatively cheap (for Manhattan), close to the park, has some good restaurants and local bars. A lot of Columbia students and young professionals live in the neighborhood, but there is still a pretty good amount of diversity.

Nervous as Hell

I know not to expect a 16-0 season, but I don’t want my boys to lose. I want them to keep on winning to make a point. I’m also pissed at Directv for not including the HD channels in the Sunday NFL ticket. Those are some nickel and dimeing bastards.

by rustdog74 on Sep 27, 2009 2:37 PM CDT reply actions

I pay extra for the superfan

or whatever it is that gets the channels in HD.

by SaintsFan-KS on Sep 27, 2009 2:44 PM CDT up reply actions

I know about super fan

I just think it is a rip-off after paying close to $300 and then another $100 on top to get the HD package. I’m just complaining. Oh well, saw my Saints are on the local Fox, so I get to watch it in HD anyway.

glad to be leading at half

but not happy with the play of our o-line. brees is under constant pressure, his throws are off, and receivers aren’t getting open. hamilton’s looked solid though, so has reggie. anyone else think the field looks slick? players are sliding all over the place…

I have to say that I’m not thrilled with the way my bills played. But I take the result of this first half very gladly.

What do you think are they keys for both teams to win this one?

Hey, I got my man love for Bell.

PT wasn’t even getting touched until he was 20 yards past the line of scrimmage. I’m not sure if that’s him or the O-line? He did look amazing at the end of that game, though. And it’s been so, so, sooooooo long since we’ve been able to run the ball down someone’s throat. I mean, it’s been since Dalton Hilliard times. Even Deuce was a little iffy in closing out games.
