Pathers big question.

The focus has been on whether the Saints should play their starters.

But with Carolina, what is the incentive to play theirs? To get a last ditch win before next season? Why not sit Peppers and other players who are critical to the team’s success? The Drew Brees injury while he was with the Chargers is one example of playing a key player too long. Tomorrow that kind of bad thing could happen to either team.

For what I can see...

they have an incentive to test Moore more and if they get a win at least that is not a losing season for them…. ending with three wins is something they can build upon… And is a divisional game. I dont expect discounts…

Happy New Year everyone

You gotta go there to come back

Critical to the team’s success?

The Panther’s season has been over the past 2 weeks, yet they’ve come out and played harder than any team in the NFL. Peppers very well might not be a Panther next year. The Panther’s full squad, minus Steve Smith will be ready to go! And with new found talent in Matt Moore, you can bet this will be a tough one for the Saints. And you do NOT want to go into the playoffs on a 3 game losing streak!

I don't think either team will be playing

all out 100%.What exactly would either 1 have to gain? Bragging rights maybe?

Fox is popular with the players

They could play hard to help ensure he’s back next year. Plus the issues with Moore and ending an otherwise disappointing season on a high note that were previously mentioned. I think the Panthers very much want to win this game.

The Panthers will be at 100%

They are re-energized behind Matt Moore, and Stewart getting the opportunity to start is running wild! These 2 guys alone are what you should fear the most, and both are playing to prove that they can be starters in this league.

This may be the last chance some of the Panther players have to prove they should be back next year!

For them, this game is very important and they’ll be going all out.

Fat, dumb, and happy. Hell, two out of three ain't bad!

Are you guys worried about going into the playoffs on 3 consecutive losses?

It seems like you guys are in a bad situation… rest guys? or play to regain confidence/momentum?

No Worries

Thanks for being brave enough to post on our site. Gotta respect that.
Would it have been nice to finish on a high note? Sure, but our problem the last two weeks has been injuries and fatigue. We definitely need to rest some guys, and I hope we rest as many as possible. After all, we won 13 games in a row. It didn’t happen by accident. What’s winning a meaningless game gonna prove? We know we have great talent and coaching. When healthy we know we can beat anybody. The embarrassing Tampa loss should be plenty of motivation to keep us focused.
P.S. I’ve been impressed with Matt Moore. Also, I’ve been impressed with Carolina playing hard and not mailing it in—it says a lot about your team and your coach. Most of all, thanks for beating the Vikings.
