Dear enemies who I'm kind of friendly with,

You can beat the Vikings. In fact, I expect it. There's a precedent in recent history, where an NFC South team beat up the Purple European Invaders in 1998, and that Atlanta Falcons team didn't have the absurd weaponry on offense that you guys do. So, as the ol' line from Caddyshack goes, you got that going for you.

I won't claim to speak for all of our readers, but it's been great to see how your fanbase has responded to this winning season. You guys are energized, happy and not nearly as obnoxious as the New England Patriots fans I've been surrounded by for the better part of the last decade. Combine that with the fact that many of you wished us well at the end of the season and I've found it impossible not to root for you, black-hearted Falcon fan that I am.

So this is the nicest thing I'm ever going to say about any of you. Enjoy it. Enjoy the incredible ride you're on. And most of all, beat the Vikings.
